Their quality of work is terrible. They have no respect for people's property. They did not clean up their mess for weeks.  He does not know how to trim. The plumbing was run incorrectly. The tile work is acceptable, however when the thresholds meets two doors they did not run the concrete board or under the marble tile for about two inches. There is no support under the edge of the concrete and the threshold. He does not return calls. I had to call the electrical contractor who referred him. The electrical contractor called me the next day, and said he was texting the tile man. Never heard from Nate Zehr or the tile. I would not use him in the future or recommend him to anyone.  I informed them we would be remodeling the basement so the plumbing needs to be rerouted and not put under the joist. When I went to look, it had been ran under the joist. He informed me that it would cost more, I said no this was his responsibility because it was his mistake. Photos were taken of the imperfections of this project and also the mess.

I just realized that thinset was poured in the grass and they also left truck tracks from driving into my yard. I hope no one uses this provider.

Now it has been noted that the pocket doors before being installed should have been primed and painted. They will not close. To correct the issues, the doors will need to be removed and started over. The new sheet rock will also need to be torn out and the wrong kind of studs were used.

Hopefully Angie's List will contact this company and have him rectify it otherwise it will involve a lawsuit against him.

Update: 2/24/16 She said they were given the opportunity to fix this and the never responded.  They are owing money because she overpaid.  They were given money and was told it was not enough to get the problem corrected.  TMurray

Fantastic. Quick estimate, stayed in contact. He began work as agreed (the good weather certainly helped). Very quick to turn around emails and phone calls. He had to special order the wood (bridge lumber), which we had to wait for, and he kept us informed the whole time. Quick work, considering the size and awkwardness of this particular job. Would totally use again!

Nate was very easy to work with. He gave us an estimate for the entire project and the cost came in exactly on estimate except for addition we made. His craftsmanship and attention to detail is excellent. We are very pleased with his work and will be calling on him again.

I was very happy to find a reliable contractor. Nate Zehr sets the bar high for other contractors!
