Our first experience with Matt set the tone.  We had just started looking and wanted to see a house on an hour's notice one Sunday afternoon.  We didn't have an agent, but the house wasn't occupied so we figured we'd drive by and have a look.  On the way there we called a few agents just to see if anyone was available on short notice who could get us inside.  We reached another agent at Matt's office who wasn't free but said she knew a GREAT agent.    A few minutes later he was at the house, still dressed from church.  The house was a wreck.  We looked anyway and he was patient and thorough, pointing out things we'd missed and even helping us come up with a rough budget of what it would take to repair the place.  I think we were there for hours.  When we left, there was no pressure, no contract, no obligation.  He was insightful, friendly, helpful, patient and caring.

Six months, many houses and some great stories later, we finally found our dream home which needs a lot of work.  Matt provided multiple references to help us restore and rehabilitate the house we finally settled on.  Again, no pressure or obligation to use his contacts.  Just consistently helpful and nice.  He was interested in selling us a house we could afford and would be happy with in the long run, regardless of the impact on his commission.  We are very glad to have met him and that he was our buyer's agent.
