IHP remodeled the staircase in our newly purchased home. The entire stair system was replaced except for the treads and risers. Their bid/proposal was very detailed and complete. The end results are excellent, however there a couple of issues. This job was done in December 2005. The job took about 2 weeks longer than expected - due to the holidays. They could have been a bit more timely. We were told in advance that we would be responsible for the removal of the debris from the old staircase after they tore it out, we were prepared for that. But they could have cleaned up better at the end of each day. Fortunately, we had not moved in yet, because it was a messy installation. Despite those two issues, I have to say that the staircase turned out beautifully and the craftsmanship is excellent.
