Epic fail by another contractor lead me to finding Mike Wells Heating and Cooling. He quickly and accurately diagnosed my system and replaced only the failing component, not the expensive compressor or replacing the entire system that I had been previously quoted. Although he had to order the part from the manufacturer, he quickly returned and installed it the same day he received the shipment. I am extremely happy with his service and would highly recommend him for heating and cooling work.

Mike himself was the person who did the servicing. His familiarity with this home’s HVAC system and servicing history (with prior owner) is a plus on why I selected this company.

Spent reasonable time checking out system before AC season. Investigated reason for air flow issue in master br. by examining duct work in crawlspace. Will return at later date to correct.

It was part of my contractor bill. I have got two things. He is a personable guy that I felt I could trust. The second thing is that, when my air conditioner kept malfunctioning because of the age, he would just drop by and kind of fix it. He said, 'I don't know how much longer we can patch this together but it will save you money if I can'. So he was willing to work with me on somebody else's product and I really appreciated that. I will give him an A because he wouldn't charge me some of the times when he came because the AC went out several times.

I went topnotch so it was close to $6000 for a furnace and AC. I just felt good because now I have quality system that is under warranty. I appreciated the way he worked. He didn't pressure me to go with this more expensive system but he showed me my options. Part of that was that I got a rebate and that helped. Sometimes I had to leave several messages for the company to come for the follow up checkup of the furnace and air conditioner.

I have known Mike Wells now for about 2 years. He came as a referral to me from a friend to do my HVAC work. Mike has serviced my heater, AC and whole house humidifier now for 2 years. Mike and his team always do a great job. They're on time. Do fantastic work and are very reasonable. If you want someone who will treat you right, get the job done and be thorough, these are the guys to call.

Our central air conditioning unit quit on the hottest day of the summer. Mike showed up the next day to assess the situation. Old unit was 40+ years old and was pronounced dead. Mike gave us a great deal on a new energy efficient York system which also included a furnace. He also told us how to apply for the tax credits. He does good work, shows up when he says he will and stays until the job is completed. We have recommended Mike to several of our friends who have also had good experiences with him.

I think highly of him. He's very honest and shows up when he says he will.. which is a big deal in this part of the country. He seems to know what he's doing.
