STL Fenceworks

Signed the contract June 13. Was promised the gate in 6-8 weeks. It is Sept 8, and I am still waiting. The "new" install date has been postponed again to the week of Sept 18. It is absurd to have to wait over 3 months to get a gate and fence. The delay was due in part because the manager of the project almost submitted the wrong order for my gate, and I would have received one that would not fit.

STL Fenceworks is very professional and responsive. They deliver what they say and provide feedback along the way on the project. That was one of the things I most respect about this company. I highly recommend. Quality of the workmanship is above our expectations. Very reliable and cost consciousness. They do not try to oversell.

Shawn and his company live up to their advertising, what you hear is what you get.  I have and would recommend him to a friend.

When having a new sidewalk laid around the side of my house, the concrete company had to remove an entire section of the fence, including the gate and gate posts in order to get their equipment in the back yard. Shawn, the owner of STL Fenceworks, arrived when he said he would and took some measurements and asked me what I was planning to do in the area so his fence could accommodate my landscaping plans.Very thorough!
His guys came out in the next couple days as Shawn indicated they would and did the work with no issues. They cleaned up after themselves and even hauled away the old fence posts, gate, and pickets that the concrete guys just left laying in my backyard. Now, that area of fence is much more sturdier than before and the gate feels like a heavy-duty quality product that also functions much better than the old one. They lined the fence and posts up perfectly with my neighbors fence and it looks great. I couldn't be happier.
I know my project was small and probably did not make him much money, but I felt like I was a very important customer to him. I like it when small business owners are grateful for your business. STL Fenceworks seemed grateful and I would certainly used them again.

Shawn, Greg, Nick and Matt made up the crew that I worked with. Shawn Long (owner) made a visit to my house to measure and advise on the different types of fencing. He was forthright with pros/cons and questions that should be asked as I compared his company to others. Greg was the organizer of the install. He was communicated timelines to me and was forthright regarding why he was recommending a particular timeline. Nick and Matt installed my fence over the course of two days. Nick made a sure that the fence was completed in a timely manner including the little touches such as using the excess dirt in specific areas of the yard. I could not be more satisfied with the fence and my interactions with STL Fenceworks. I highly recommend this company.

St. Louis Fenceworks was a pleasure to do business with from the first moment when we met Shawn to the very end when their guys cleaned up and drove off after they completed installing our new fence. Shawn came to bid the fence and he was very professional and informative. He talked to us like our opinions mattered and listened to what we wanted which is not what we got from other companies. We had a new house built and had a number of obstacles that they had to work around. First, the timing of our sprinkler system and sod installation put their schedule back at the last minute at least twice and they never swayed from being polite and accommodating. I am one to ask a lot of questions and Greg, the gentleman in the office, answered my emails and questions immediately. He was always polite and very helpful. Once the work started, they worked steady and quickly. They asked for our feedback before they hardened the concrete on the posts and made sure we were happy with the job they were doing. I am quite the perfectionist and they never got aggravated that I looked at their work so closely and asked them if they'd try adjusting a post here or there to make me happy. It was one of the most pleasant experiences we had during the entire time we built this house. We are get compliments on it every time we talk to one of our neighbors. I recommend them highly.

They did a great job. The material and workers were outstanding. They did a real quality job. I am very satisfied. I would use them again if needed.
