I like it that they will knock on the door to ask about this week's cutting if it looks marginal. Nice touch when we have little rain and not much growth.

Hired many prior to Off Duty Lawn, but this company was the most punctual of any. They always arrived on the same day of the week. Work was done efficiently. I had a few occasions to speak with the crew and felt safe in their presence. I'd highly recommend. Regarding Spring-time cleanup, I was pleasantly surprised that they did it as well as I could have (if I'd physically been able to). Hard to find those who live up to standards.

My lot is the smallest they cut and it is $35 a cut. They have different people that come and cut it every week so if there is something that they need to be aware of I have to tell them every time.

Has been fine so far. They show up every week or so, cut the lawn if it needs it, clean up and leave. I'm quite satisfied

I've been a regular customer of Off Duty since 2006 and have gotten great service until the last year or 2.  My service has become increasingly inconsistent.  I've read the other reviews and I'm convinced that I'm not getting the same quality of service that others are getting.  My service has always been scheduled for Thursday but sometimes it happens on Wednesday or Friday, that's ok as long as it is done by the weekend.  I'm not finding that the crews are "evaluating" my lawn as they are for other customers.  I've had my lawn cut when there is visible standing water in low spots after heavy rains, leaving deep ruts and muddy stripes and other times when my lawn is not cut even when there has been very little or no rain.  They will cut my lawn in the middle of the summer when it's clear that the grass hasn't grown.   There is no "evaluation" going on.  I have had conversations with the owner but the inconsistencies have continued.  3 weeks ago they cut on Wednesday (fine), 2 weeks ago they cut on Wednesday (fine again, I guess they changed my service but didn't let me know), last week they didn't cut at all so I called to be sure they would cut this week and they assured me that since my service is scheduled for Thursday they would be there on Thursday, no one showed up on Thursday. At this point I'm just hoping that they come today.  My grass is very high and unsightly and I have a party planned for this Memorial Day weekend and want my lawn looking nice.  I will continue to use Off Duty if their service improves or I will have to find another lawn care provider.  I'll give it another couple of weeks while I call and get other estimates.

They are very punctual.  The arrive every Friday to mow in the summer.  If it rains, they mow on Saturday.  When it snows over 2 inches, they arrive within 24 hours to remove.  They do exactly what I need at a reasonable price.

They tell you how many times they'll cut it at the end of the month.  I found him extremely trustworthy.  He takes care of everything I need to be done.  They only cut grass; they don't do any type of yard work.  They also have snow removal, leaf removal, options and stuff but that was also an extra charge for their trimming.

They were ontime and professional, They do require a 48 hour cancellation. 2 or 3 of my neighbors even use them.

My husband was going to unable to mow our lawn for about 6 weeks this summer. I had last used them about 6 years ago for regular lawn mowing while my husband was working out of town, so I contacted them again to see if they would take a temporary job. I received an email from Jim Schrand the next day, agreeing to the temporary job. They promptly up each Monday morning for the next 5 weeks. They didn't mow the last week because the grass not grown enough. I recommend their service as they have always been dependable and are fairly priced.

This is a great company. They show up on time, every other week. They do a great job cutting the grass, trimming all the edges and blowing all the debris away. They are a clean-cut group of guys, very friendly, and do an amazing job. This will be the only company I will have perform my lawn maintenance.

Very good. Also, when the grass growing slows down, they modify their cutting times--not as often Gotta love it. The last people I used cut every week--even when it didn't need it. I highly recommend them.

This is the second year I have contracted with Off Duty Lawn Care for a weekly lawn mowing. They do a very nice job, and clean up after themselves. Last year a mower accidentally damaged our siding, (must have been a rock or something kicked up into it) and Off Duty promptly fixed the damage siding, replacing it with an exact color matching pieice. I understand accidents happen, and I was impressed by the quick response to fixing it at no cost. My only reservation so far this season is that the mowing is very short and my yard has not responded as well to it this year. Overall, excellent value for the weekly mowing.

the worker showed up on the days they were scheduled. Did the work quickly and trimmed each time. Very well done.

They have been fine. Excellent service. They use their judgment about cutting the grass and they do not it excessively. If it does not need it they do not do it. I would give them a high recommendation. I can say they are easy to judge only by one use because they wont do work that does not need to be done. They are really quick. They are efficient. They have done a good job. My brother-in-law uses them. They are fine. Good company. They have been responsive when there was a question about billing for the work they did. They got back promptly with it. Very good about being responsive. They are pretty competitive. It's a decent price. It's not cheap. It's not expensive. It's a fair price. The owner is really good about getting back in touch promptly. They do not have a set time to come with. They come around Fridays are out to cutting grass and they are pretty good about it. They show up on the day they are supposed to show up. They have been good with their timing and stuff. The owner has been good. I have not had any real contacts with people doing the work but they have done decent enough job without complaints about anything yet.

Very professional, they show up on time, I was very satisfied with the service.

They cut the grass on a weekly basis. They also trim the bushes that grow over the driveway and they blow the cut grass off of the patio.

OFF DUTY LAWN CARE have been doing a great job with my lawn.

They do an excellent job. The same men, Jeff and Tony cut our grass every week. The are efficient and polite.
When the lawn is too wet from rain, they do what I ask which is to skip until next week rather than have turf damage.
I will use them again in 2014.

They show up regularly. The workers are very nice.
