Finally a month later I decided to call her. Of course I got her answering machine. I left a message saying that I didn't know what had happened but we were supposed to have gotten together the week of July 8th for another appointment. I also said if she was still interested in helping me with the decorating to please give me a call back. No call. I was really disappointed. I have painters coming very soon and one of the things I wanted was to have color suggestions. Luckily, the painter said he did have a suggestion for me. It's really her loss. She spent travel time to my house and then almost an hour talking with me. The pictures weren't really anything as they were taken with her phone camera. I know that I wasn't an expensive client but still, when I initially talked with her on the phone to set up the free consultation, she agreed to taking me on as a client and said she did decorating for individuals. Then for her not to follow through or even return my call. . . that is very unprofessional. Update: Melissa did finally call me back after I left her a phone message. It was at least 3 days AFTER I phoned her and AFTER I wrote the review. What she didn't add up. I decided that someone that unreliable and probably untruthful on top of it, was not someone I wanted to work with. It was a bad deal from the start. I hope she learns from this experience and treats other people better than I was treated.
