Lasater Automotive

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Lasater for 5 years now. I've never felt more at ease with a repair shop. I believe they have always been honest and fair. I have little knowledge of car repair so they could have easily taken advantage of us. There were even a couple of times when money was an issue that they offered a lower cost solution until we could afford the major repair. I tell everyone that will listen that Lasater is the absolute best!

Couldn't be happier. I knew I needed this maintenance per my previous mechanic putting them on the "recommends" list for almost 2 years to be in line with mftr specs. I knew from driving the car I needed the alignment. I decided to give another mechanic a shot at becoming my new mechanic as lately, I've been feeling like I've been misled, unnecessarily up-sold, and/or received questionable service on several occasions by my (now previous) mechanic for over 6 years. I chose Lasater Automotive strictly based on AL reviews and on the fact they could, indeed, perform all 3 services (Hwy K Garage, which is not on Hwy K any longer, does not do front end alignments). They are busy, so I had to schedule about a week out to get my big job completed, which understandably took 1.5 days of being without a car. They performed all work, on time and called upon completion. Friendly and seemingly trustworthy people. It was my first interaction with them, and I TOLD them what I wanted done, so I can't comment on their ability to diagnose and recommend reasonable repairs - but I BELIEVE they would be honest in that situation. Next time I use them, I would ask to be shown/given worn-out parts. As for price, they are reasonable...or at least they were right where my former mechanic had priced the recommended repairs. I also checked autoservicecosts dot com (great web site for details on what is typically done in any given repair) and Lasater's cost was a little less than the average cost of repairs. I will def use them again over the national chain, 'mechanic in a box' I was using before.

Fixed fast and timely

My overall experience has been absolutely incredible. They are upright good people and are knowledgeable. They are just the best. I will go to them until we move away from here.

been using steve for 20 + years, took truck in, they inspected and quoted repairs, had the truck back the same day.

It went really well. They fixed a cronic problem that I could not fix myself. I would definitely do business with them again.
