 + -1 moreWe narrowed the original list of 5 down to two lenders. We ultimately decided to go with CitiMortgage's competition, but they changed the rate they quoted us not once, but twice! Twice we came crawling back to Eric. He was always very patient with us and would take the time to explain language in the contract or documents we didn't understand. After CitiMortgage's competition changed rates on us the second time we were through with them and they actually began threatening us! The company handling our relocation had to intervene on our behalf. Eric Scofield, on the other hand, was always the quintessential professional and his integrity was beyond reproach.
Description of Work: My wife and I recently moved from Central New Jersey to Houston as part of a corporate relocation. The company handling our relocation had 5 preferred lenders for us to choose from. We called them all and asked for a quote for a 30 year fixed mortgage for $179,900. Several were slow to respond and one never contacted us! Eric Scofield from CitiMortgage always returned our phone calls and emails promptly. Psychologist predict that moving is one of the 5 most stressful events in a persons life. I can not even begin to express the gratitude for the level of care that Eric displayed to both my wife and myself during this stressful time.
