"[Member Name Removed] - you are welcome to contact our office if you would like. Our service was not professional and we fully concur. We have refunded what you had asked and would like to discuss the issue with you. With over 50 employee's and the time of year, things do get hectic. I believe that we resolved the issues and we are sorry for the problems that you had."
"Hey [Member Name Removed] - I hadn't met you, but this is Rick, the President of Bi-State. My guess is that you were dealing with Nathan, Doug or Jim. Thank you for the review and if there is ever anything I or any of our team can do for you, please let us know. Happy swimming this summer! Swimcerely, Rick Woemmel"

"This response if from the President of Bi-State Pool & Spa. Customer had requested service for her above ground pool over a year before she had filled out this form. We had opened her pool and cleaned it (many of the times at no charge). When we had told customer that her filter was bad, she purchased one off of Craiglist and asked that we install it. As a company policy, we do not install filters from third parties or used equipment because it carries no warranty (and you have to wonder why people are getting rid of it). Originally, customer said that she had paid over $900 for services and was looking for $650 in a refund. When I reached out to her to tell her that she had only paid $529, she changed her overall rating from a "C" to an "F". Customers who are looking for an honest company, rated among the top companies in the nation according to the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (www.apsp.org), please feel free to contact us. We have an A+ rating at the BBB and have been in business for over 20 years. Customers who are looking for us to install used equipment on their pool, please continue looking, we do not provide this type of service. Swimcerely, Rick"
"As stated according to her, her name was spelled differently in our accounting program, making her difficult to find. When we did find her, we did notice that we had replaced a heat exchanger in June of 08. These heat exchangers are made of copper and are susceptible to chemicals damage per the manufacturer (please google swimming pool pH-the top one that showed up when I googled this). Please note that in her letter, she states that "the pool had not been shocked or checked for 10 days". Shocking a pool has nothing to do with the pH of the water, acidic pH is what corrodes metals. The customers lack of knowledge and my technician telling the customer that the "pH was too low" was the cause of the copper being eaten out of the heater. We do not make heat exchangers for heaters or dictate the thickness of them. It this customer has a problem with the thickness of the heat exchanger, they need to contact the manufacturer. Otherwise, according to the customer's complaint, we did everything that was supposed to be done. The customer not understanding that a service call is $79...I don't know what to say. Possibly the customer should contact Sears, an auto repair shop, a garage door company, etc....every company that I can possibly think of charges a service call fee. Companies need this thing called money in order to operate. In conclusion, I will be glad to meet with this customer, an arbitrator, etc. The sad truth of the matter is going to be that Bi-State Pool Management did nothing wrong and that this was an expensive second lesson for this customer. Rick Woemmel-President"
