It turned out beautiful. They finished ahead of schedule. The entire experience was great and i could not be happier with quality of work. James and his crew were professional, friendly and exceeded my expectations.

1. Patio installation - okay work, but was subcontracted anyway. Pleased with most of the results from this installation, but a couple of places could have been better, including where the exterior siding trim met the steps out of the house. 2. Sprinkler System - Subcontracted again, but this time slow to install. Company was one person basically and he got very sick. HOWEVER, L&L did not offer any professional replacement and it took well over 3 months to install the system, leaving a huge mess of our yard and a leaky junction box that ended up costing us a $500 water bill over the course of 1-2 months!! Will never use these people again.

They exceeded our expectations with their quality of work and the timely manner of completion.

there was an initial issue on route to job site.  Contractor was quick to conform to our request.
We were contacted daily by on site labor regarding progress and performance.

HOME RUN!!!  When you realize that you can’t wait to get home … to get outside … to enjoy …  and to share your beautiful space with others, you know that you’ve achieved your goal!  In our experience,’ we feel like we’ve exceeded our expectations with the partnership that we’ve established with Lawn and Landscape Solutions.  After an extensive search for the hardscape/landscape design company that fit our vision and earned our trust, we confidently chose Lawn and Landscape Solutions.  From the initial meeting with James Reid (owner) he listened to our desires to take a concrete pad with a tiny deck overhang, perched on a backyard with a steep downward slope, and quickly offered ideas to transform it into over 1,000 square feet of breathtaking St. Louis outdoor living space.  It features a raised patio with retaining walls installed to engineered specs, seating walls, outdoor kitchen, remote controlled fire pit, louvered pergola, outdoor lighting, stone and cedar columns.  James and his team accommodated our requests and questions throughout the process and worked well with our neighbors.  Their professionalism, talent, and attention to detail were stellar.  They made us feel that they valued our project and our home as much as we do.  Thank you, Lawn and Landscape Solutions, for creating, executing, and sprinkling your magic to create a place of serenity and peace - a place we can’t wait to experience every day!!!!

They did a good job. They moved out of the area. They are closer into St. Louis. They did not do any follow up. They could have done better in that. They could have checked back with me and seen how things were going. everything else was fine.

James came out mid February to give us a bid for a failing retaining wall.  After comparing to other companies we chose Lawn & Landscape Solutions because they were local and professional.  They started the job within two weeks and finished in a handful of days.  The wall looks FANTASTIC!!  Couldn't be better.  Also, we hired him a couple of months later to build another retaining wall  (about 50 feet long) to use for parking our trailers on.  The stone are beautiful and durable.  Couldn't ask for anything better!!

. I received two bids and picked this company because they seemed to do more things for the dollar. They came out and the bid process was very professional and they explained the best way to do it. I also had a little area around the mailbox to figure out which they helped on. They gave us a contact at outdoor emporium and  he was very helpful in narrowing our choice of colors.  We were supposed to have it done Oct. -Nov of 2014 but they said with the early snow and freezing they wanted to wait till spring. So spring rolls around and I called them more than they called me on time line.  We were hoping by Easter but that did not happen. I was going to be on a bushiness trip end of April first of May and I really did not want it to happen with me not being here. So because of tons of false starts due to rain and I guess them being behind with other jobs they started when I was gone of course. The Job was very professional and they took great pains to keep area clean. Neighbors were really impressed with the work and the way it looks. It is done very well and it is made to last traffic from cars and people. What does bother me was there was no follow up from project like hey do you like it , having any problems, any questions on maintenance etc... Also the whole communication between us and them was poor. I know weather etc does drive this project but the way it was going i was wondering if it was ever going to get done. We came close to asking for our down payment back.

James, from Lawn and Landscape, put a retaining wall iwith drainage in our backyard. We had a serious problem with water run off from other yards surrounding ours. The wall solved the majority of the run off and looks Fantastic!! They filled in the top of the wall with a larger, beautiful type of rock.The grandkids have actually found fossils in the rocks. Would I use their services again?? You betcha!!

Originally scheduled for second week of June, finally showed up the first week of September.  They were delayed by weather and equipment problems, but could have communicated much better.

We contracted the work to be done on June of this year (2013). It wasn't started until it was about a month later then we agreed on. Very bad communications as to when work would be started and finished. Work was said to be finished but it was done badly.To their credit they came out and redid the flagstone sidewalk to our liking. Tree was put in garden but it was not what we ordered. Took a month to get the right tree in. We use them for our lawn cutting and they do a very good job and want to keep using them but will not hire them again for landscaping.

Jim owns and operates this business himself.  He is always on time, provides excellent yard work, and is affordable.  I have used him many times and have always been pleased with his work.  With many different companies offering services in this area, I highly recommend you contact him for personalized lawn care.  Call or text 601-940-6323.

James was personable, knowledgeable and friendly. Great group of professional guys who really know what they are doing! Would HIGHLY recommend! Will be using for future projects!

Slow but good quality

They didn't have good communication about what the plan was, and how the work would go in. It's pretty and nice, but there are some things about it we don't like. Some of the stone had to be cut, and that was unsightly. A stone that had a crack on it was put on the front where it showed. Stones were stacked so that the seams lined up instead of staggered. Some of the lines don't look as straight as they should. They did a fine job of forming the base, and getting it leveled. My overall experience with them was average, and their price was average. The quality of their work was good. I would not use this company again in the future.
