Dan is a nice guy and it appeared he did good work but within six weeks, there?s a crack all the way across the driveway we called him several times he would not return our calls so unfortunately, I would not recommend this concrete man

Dan was hired to replace my driveway and sidewalk. He completed the work was paid. Several weeks later, the city contacted me stating that a permit had never been pulled for the work and this needed to be done. (Dan told me that he would apply for permit as part of the job.) Dan would not respond to either me or the city. I ended up filing and paying for the permit. A city inspection of the work then showed that Dan had not used the concrete mix that we had discussed ( was required by the city), nor was the drive poured to acceptable depth. I was required to tear up and replace the driveway approach (about 11 ft) , to meet city code. ----At my initial meeting with Dan, he seemed professional and quite competent and knowledgeable about concrete and nuances of the work. I am shocked that he performed such shoddy work after we stood in my driveway and he described how he would used a specific concrete mix to meet city code as well as having clear knowledge of what the city required. Dans single truth spoken in my interaction with him, was that in all of his years of concrete pouring experience, he had never replaced one of his driveways which I assumed at the time, implied was because of the superior quality of his work. Had I only known what he really meant :)

Dan was easy to deal with. The weather delayed my project, but, Dan was ready when the weather broke. He did not kick me down the list.

They were able to fit me into their schedule right away and completed the job in just 3 days. The crew was friendly, professional and respectful of our home and property. They did a wonderful job, and left the jobsite clean. Our driveway is so pretty that people are driving by slowly and taking pictures. Dan might consider having yard signs made for his company to generate business from drive byes.

I have had the concrete garage floor & driveway installed/poured by Dan Mead Concrete Construction. The garage floor is breaking up in 6 to 8 inch chunks where the garage floor meets the driveway. Less than 3 years old. Dan Mead Concrete Construction will not show up for appointments to even look at garage floor. Now Dan Mead Concrete Construction will not answer or return calls. Dan Mead Concrete Construction does NOT stand behind their work!!!

Dan takes his time and explains what is going on with the job. He did an awesome job on our new sidewalk and driveway. We love how they turned out!! Dan is highly recommended for any or your concrete needs. We will be hiring him again for work we want done in our backyard 😃
