She used a chainsaw (!!!) to cut the timbers and many of them were not cut straight. Some were not even layed straight. She did not run a transit line, just eyeballed everything. She didn't plan too far ahead, just tried to make it work when she got there (like turning a corner going uphill). She argued with us when we asked her to correct something. She ended up doing that same area three times and it still is not right. She does not use any geometry or calculations to figure elevation, etc., she just guesses at everything. She told us she would "dress up" the edges but when she ran out of topsoil and grass seed, just threw some straw on it and called it good. She did not put sand as a base so the pavers are already breaking. Where did she learn this? Her "talent" seems to be only in placing landscaping bricks. We've seen several of her jobs for this and she seems to do that OK.
