Our renters caused extensive water damage in the flooring in the spare bathroom/laundry room and damaged the ceramic tile tub surround in the main bathroom.
Due to their misuse of the toilet in the spare bathroom, they caused a leak by damaging the seal between the tank and the toilet bowl and did not report it in the spare bathroom.  They broke the ceramic soap dispenser causing it to fall off the wall and loosened the surrounding tiles by continuing to take showers.  The water compromised the sub-wall behind the tiles causing mold to form behind the tiles and in the wall insulation.  They also allowed water to drain on the floor in the main bathroom causing the linoleum floor covering to buckle and it had to be replaced.
Those were the obvious damages.
Therefore, these damages caused additional water damage behind the walls and subfloor.  Anyone who has lived in the Midwest in December-January you know this can be catastrophic to a home owner if not taken care of immediately.  The flooring in both bathrooms, as well as the ceramic tile and the shower system in the main bathroom had to be replaced immediately during the week of Christmas and New Year.
Kevin and his team were Amazing.  He was prompt to reply, very empathetic, professional and affordable.  His name truly speaks for itself!  American Home Solutions is exactly what they do, especially when you have a deadline or critical time frame to meet.  We live in Hawaii and were visiting friends and family for the holidays.  Kevin and his team responded right away, they were courteous and did not try to take advantage of our circumstances due to our time constraints or the price gouge us due to the time of the year.  It was great to have a contractor answer your call and show up to your home to provide an estimate when everything else is falling apart.  We trusted Kevin enough to return home prior to the work being completed.  When the job was completed, Kevin "Face Timed" us to show us in real time exactly what he and his team had done in our home.  It looked better than it was before I rented it.  Kevin said, "I treat every home as if it is my own,' and he truly does.
Of course, this does not surprise me when it comes to our Veterans, who embody the values of integrity, responsibility and honesty.  Not to mention how to deal with anything life has to throw at us.
