He put our handle to where you turn on the water completely crooked because he placed the pipes wrong some how. Then he didn't tell us that he made the mistake until we noticed it ourselves after they completed the job. We called him back to come fix it. His response was "Well I was just going to fix it when I updated your other bathroom. You can live with it until then, right?" We made him come back to make it straighter, but he had to put shims on the pipes behind the wall to keep it straighter putting a lot of pressure on the pipes. He also seemed completely annoyed to have to come back. Now we will probably have to redo the tiling sometime in the future according to another plumber. Needless to say we did not call them back.

The floor drain in our basement backed up twice. I called several "big" plumbing companies and was told they don't go as far west as my house. That's when I found Intelligent Plumbing Solutions on Angie's List.
Steve discussed our issue, asked insightful questions and immediately recommended we clean the septic filters and have the tank levels checked. Steve could have stopped by to provide a diagnosis and collected a fee, but he helped us right on the phone. We called our septic services company and found that Steve's diagnosis was correct. Problem solved.
We were so impressed with Steve's integrity, professionalism and insightful recommendations that we asked him to other nagging sink and tub issues. We also had him install a utility sink with floor drain. Steve provided excellent services at a great price. We will be remodeling a laundry soon and won't hesitate to call Steve for the plumbing work.

Called Steve, he promptly replied, drove to our home, fixed water heater.

He did a very good job for us. He was very intelligent and knew what he was doing. He was a little hesitant about what was involved in doing this, but he went ahead, tried and accomplished his task; I couldn't ask more than that. We would use him again in the future; I took his card for that purpose.

I called Steve Wednesday morning and he called my wife and set up an appointment for later that morning. He came over at the time he said, checked out the water heater and gave an estimate, then went and got the parts to fix it. He was punctual and professional and answered any questions we had. I would definitely use him again.

My wife informed me that we were out of hot water. I tried to light the pilot light with no success. Being a novice handy man I replaced the thermocupple. The pilot light still wouldn't stay lit. Rather than continue the battle I called a neighbor for a plumber referral.
