Mr Weems pursued the contract to do the roofing job for me. He decided he could come down on his original bid of $13,550 to 12,000 if he got the job then and could have it completed during the Thanksgiving holiday. He wanted to sign a contract which was done on 10/30/2019 to include a $6000 deposit. Here we are on 02/19/20 and not a bit of work has been started and not effort to refund the deposit. Mr. Weems has not even made any attempt to ever initiate contact with me in regard to the status of the work any communication on this job had to be made by my self. Don't trust this Mr. Weems be careful and search Case.net to view all the others who have filed cases against this Mr. Weems. Can't comment on the quality of his work he did not do any work.

We had gone through a nightmare with this contractor. He took 1/2 down payment on our roof project. Three months after taking the down payment we had to beg and demand to come and start working on our roof or refund the payment. It took 4,5 weeks to completely replace the roof from the start to finish. By the way, in our neighborhood dozens of homes had roofs replaced in 3 days or less (by professional companies). It was leaking inside because the contractor took the shingles off the roof without properly covering the dwelling and did not purchase the replacement shingles. While it was leaking during the rain, he did not care about the project and was not in a hurry to complete the job. He ran out of shingles several times, which further delayed the completion. He demanded payment when the job was not yet complete. We learned a huge lesson: always hire a professional company with solid reputation. In addition, a month and a half after we made the final payment and received the lien release for all work performed, the gutter's guy, who was hired by Matt Weems, showed up and demanded payment, which was supposed to be paid by Matt Weems. Mr. Weems told him that he would pay but failed to do so. So, the gutter's guy told us he would put a lien on our house. This matter has not been resolved yet.

Had no idea what they where doing. Had to use my husbands tools. When completed it was over 4” not level it to mention how long it took the complete. Husband and brother in law had to tear it down and start over

Hired him to put in a bathtub. His work was shotty. The tub was damaged and he tried to cover it up with a wash cloth. When confronted I was cursed out and he demanded payment well over what I was originally quoted. He’s being sued for fraud by Lowes and Meeks.

Months after I gave him the 50 percent deposit on the job, I still didn't have any work done on the home. He continues to take money from people for a down payment and then not do the job. The only thing actually done at my house was the concrete pad and that he subbed out to another guy and he charged me $800 above what the guy charged him to do it. After threatening to hire an attorney they finally gave me my deposit on the job back minus the ridiculously over priced concrete patio that they charged me for. I would search case net before using this company.

I paid him for the completion of the roof repairs, siding, framing, facia and soffits. He only completed the roof repairs and soffits. The roof repair was improperly done and is still leaking. He agreed to come back out and take a look, after a few phone calls and a missed appointment. He finally came back out and sealed up some shingles with caulking. He offered a 10 year warranty on the roof repairs, but he has never returned my calls concerning the additional leaks since the end of August. I have hired another contractor to repair his work. I would not recommend him.
