Service seemed efficient. Deck looked good immediately after being done. Within several weeks, I had 3 or 4 board that had area that basically imploaded, with big holes where the wood just caved in on itself. I called and when they came out they said they were not responsible, my deck had termites. I called a termite and he said I did not have termites. I called SealMaxx again and they said my deck was rotten before the treatment so they were not responsible. My cedar deck was 4 years old! They sold me mostly on a 25 year waranty that would pass with ownership of the house if I sold. My deck was not rotten, and if they thought that it was, they should have advised me upfront what they thought was the condition and that they would not honor the 25 year waranty. All they will do is come out and spray it again. The whole process was worthless, but very very costly. I am in the process of replacing most of the deck due to the damage.
