Their electrician does bad work and they don't stand behind it. They only make excuses. Without anything plugged in to the new outlets, the breaker trips. Avoid at all costs if you don't want an electrical fire.

Quoted for 4 hrs of work but only took 2 but still charge and when disputed get no response

"I am sorry Mr. [Member Name Removed] that you were unhappy with the cost of your job. We [Member Name Removed] charge from the time we leave our office in Monett and you are out in the country quite a bit. Just because the tech might have only been at your home for 2 hours, there is also the time it takes to get to your home and also time gathering the material needed for the job. The tech did make 2 trips to your home as well. We ran a gas line for a new stove for you and our Techs are certified in gas training. It is a specialty job and we take our training serious. We prefer to have trained techs to service our customers and pricing reflects that. I am sorry that you are unhappy with the cost but we [Member Name Removed] not work out of a garage, we have an office located in Monett, we are insured and bonded. You stated in the comments here that you were "Quoted", generally when a service contractor "quotes" a price, that is what we intend to charge you and that is what happened in your case. We quoted you a price and you accepted that price, and now you are unhappy about that said price."

They were very good. They have been out twice and they were very honest with me. They put in some plugs in my kitchen and I needed a plug for RV parking. They told me all you need is a regular plug and that I could use my plug outside instead of putting in a plug for three hundred dollars. They could have made more money on the other but they were honest with me. It ended up being very cheap. I'm from Washington State and out there they would have just put in the other without giving me a choice. The outside plug was put in a month ago and the outside plug was put in about three months ago. The indoor plug cost about a hundred and thirty five dollars since it was one of the ones with a breaker on it and he had to run to the appliance store. The outside plug cost about fifty five dollars. He was friendly and courteous and he also got the work done in a timely fashion. The price was good. The quality of the work was good as well. His punctuality was good. I would use him again.

They were marvelous. They gave me a good estimate for a high quality product. They came out and got the work done when they said they would and everything worked fine. I am probably going to have them install a furnace too.

The diagnosis was correct and despite delays caused by manufacturer's call wait times, Davis staff remained patient and professional and got the issue resolved. Other companies in the area did not want to tackle the issue with a tankless hot water heater.

We called Jay in and he looked over everything, made a list of what was needed and found us the best possible price on parts and gave a detailed worksheet on the labor. Everything was completed as discussed and on time within our budget. A few issues came up during the job be he quickly resolved them and we are 100% operational and have had no issues since the work was done.

People don't really get in a hurry in a town like Monett, but if there is an emergency Davis and Son gets things done in a timely manner. Just make sure you set up a time-line if you are in a hurry.

.Jay and his associate of Davis & son were friendly, assuring and I was immediately made to feel comfortable with their willingness to work on the tankless water heater. In the past when I had contacted some of the other local plumbers, I had received negative attitudes toward the tankless and an unwillingness to do the troubleshooting required.
Jay did a series of troubleshooting maneuvers while his partner was on hold with Bosch, the manufacturer of the water heater for more than 45 minutes. Jay had isolated the problem when Bosch finally came on the call and walked them through some additional tests to validate what the problem was. And sure enough, Bosch came up with the same resolution.
They then ordered the required part from Bosch and when it arrived, they contacted me to come out and install it.
I truly love my tankless because it is efficient and does not heat while it is not being used, so I am very grateful to the team at Davis & Son for being willing to take on the job even though they were not very familiar with the appliance, and then for getting the job done.
They were on time both times and were efficient and as quick as possible in resolving the issue. The installation of the part took very little time.
I would recommend Davids & Son and will certainly use them for my upcoming remodel of a bath.
