 + -1 moreDismal shopping experience. Rug was beautiful, but damaged in shipping by their freight company (not ours), service after the sale, delivery, attention to detail and total cooperation in resolving the issue was unsatisfactory. Lots of lip service, NO REAL SERVICE. Supervisor (Nina Cope) indicated that after crediting our Visa for the defective product that she would re-order the identical rug as a replacement. It simply did not happen. In fact, we only received credit after numerous phone calls with no confirmation ever given by Home Decorators that the problem was, in fact, resolved. The product ordered mid-August 2006. As of 10/9/2006 we still do not have a rug in our home. Supposedly, it is once again (with Supervisor Jermaine) on order. This is the last chance before some legal action will be taken.
Description of Work: Home Decorators are an internet/phone mail order company. They do not install their products, but are avendor only. They seemingly have great products at great prices but they have failed to deliver the product in satisfactory condition and in a timely manner. Even though the defect is their problem, they would not credit the freight bill (approximately $125.00) to our account. This, to us, is inexcusable. We ordered one of their largest, more expensive decorator area rugs.
