After a terrible experience with another company, my husband and I were both pleased with this company. At first there was some miscommunication about price, but once we got that cleared up things went pretty smoothly. We had a contract with another company, but after 2 months of waiting, we finally broke it off with them. Within 3 weeks, Topps had finished our driveway for us. We really appreciated how easy it was to get information without getting the run-around and that they actually did the driveway when they said they would. On the day of we were a little concerned that the driveway would end up a little high, so we asked that they pave over the bottom step to our porch if it would be that high. The main guy said that it wouldn't get that high. Later when they were finished, he showed me that it had actually come that high, so they had paved the extra part for us. Even though it was such a small area, they still went above and beyond to give us something that would look nice and work well. We'll see how this driveway holds up in the long run, but for now we are definitely satisfied.

Poor experience.  I will have to pay another company to seal again.  Sealant is coming up.  They do less than minimum in prep work.  I also asked that a couple of pot holes to be filled and they were not.  They were apparently to busy with more important jobs. Please save yourself of this experience.  There are plenty of other companies that will do the job right.

After calling multiple companies for bids and speaking to multiple Contractor Friends of mine I chose Topps Paving to repave my parents driveway. All of their workers were extremely professional and courteous to me and my 75 year old father who watched the entire time and asked questions of the crew. Allow a large window to schedule as rain will interfere with a dry paving surface and effect when they can complete the asphalt paving. Overall, I spoke with everyone from the crew to the office secretary to the owner of the company and all were professional and accommodating. I highly recommend this paving company

Everything went very well. The project started on time and took about 2 and 1/2 days to complete. The foreman was professional and not only directed his crew well, but worked with us, the nervous homeowners. We did not have any unexpected problems. Topps presented a bid with pictures, worked well with us to add some more detail to the bid, changed the bid when we decided to increase the size of the project, returned all signed copies of bid to us, by mail and email, and provided all insurance certificates. Topps also took care of all calls to Dig Right and did not start the project until all utilities were marked. They hand dug around all utilities and used a trench machine further out. Our sprinkler lines were broken (we knew this would happen) and the foreman made all repairs to the sprinkler line, then turned on our sprinklers to test before replacing the dirt. We are very happy with the completed project.

average to below average: originally bid job, upon acceptance of bid raised bid price. Tough time scheduling job, field crew very good, warranty is weak, no follow-up, asked to address problems could not get company to return calls, follow up seal coar over priced and again not followed up.

Topps gave me a detailed written estimate, the lowest of several. It took a few days to get on the schedule, but they then surprised me by coming out the very next day and completing the work. They did a fantastic job. Thanks to Justin and Natalie - beyond expectation ;)

I called, and within 3 days had a written proposal (also very competitive). The last contractor 3 years ago really screwed up the parking lot. They milled out several areas to correct drainage issues then repaved the whole lot & striped it. Now I have a bran new lot that looks good,and is functional.
