Going without hot water was challenging enough, but the initial wait was frustrating with Shad reporting delays in getting the unit to St. Louis (first it was the travel ban having it stuck at the Canadian border, then the New York blizzard - February 2017), but once we called around and found a unit already in town on a Thursday (after over a week without hot water), Shad was there to install a new unit the following Monday. He not only knew what the previous installer and previous Bosch repair person did wrong, he knew how to create a whole new more efficient system with minimal disruption to our already finished basement. He was very professional with good communication, cleaning up after each stage, and keeping to the original bid. He took care of all warranty information, gave us the forms for rebates from Laclede and tax credits from the IRS. We are thrilled to have continuous hot water without any error messages. The unit works great! On a side note, we had read the previous reviews on the English Property Maintenance and saw one review with an low rating. We were up front with Shad about what we had read and told him we wanted to be sure we could give him a good rating. This worked well. My only reason for a B on responsiveness above was the delays in the beginning - with the stories about truck drivers stuck at the border and blizzards when we found out that several units were available in town at other businesses. Even with that, we are pleased with Shad's work and with the Navien unit. We gladly recommend Shad and English Property Maintenance for tankless water heater installations!

Shad was friendly. He protected his shoes with covers to protect my carpet. He was very funny and had a lovely accent. He was kind enough to show me how to use ,y new AT&T system and some information about my furnace. He also recommended that I get a carbon monoxide detector. I really appreciate his knowledge and helpfulness.

Shad came out and wowed me with how knowledgeable he was and his quote came in far below the three others I had received.  I was concerned with that he did not have any online reviews, but I took a name and number which he had given me and called, and they said he did a great job.
I know that sounds naive of me, but I want to believe the best in people and their honesty.  
The total of my job was to be $10,500 and Shad needed $7,900 down to start work.  This alarmed me as it was more than 50% down, and I held off several weeks before agreeing to get the work down, and made the payment through Paypal using my Discover for the deposit amount of $7,900.  I was told that tracking numbers would be available from Fujitsu shortly after the order had been placed in their system.  
Where I became concerned is when Shad had claimed to drop off a application for a permit with the City of St. Louis, and that it would take a week to be approved.  Well, this morning, I called and checked with my address, and they have never received a permit to do work with!  That's right, he did not apply for the permit, he had explained clearly to me that he was hoping it would be ready by Tuesday 11/26 and approved, but that it possibly won't be approved until 11/26 because they were busy.
When I called to confront him with the fact that he had mislead me with what work he was doing, he was immediately defensive, and claimed that I had misunderstood him, which I had not, as I was suspicious of him, just by hearing of what has happened to others, and the fact that he had no online reputation.
So, I told him that I was not comfortable with him moving forward as I could not trust that he would do what he said, and I asked for my $7,900 back.  He refused, and told me that I needed to contact Discover Credit Card directly, that they would deal with it!  I am not sure, but I think that might be illegal.
Steer clear, don't make the mistake I did.
