I hired STL Windows and Doors to replace 28 storm windows on my home because they were highly rated. I was told that the windows would be fully custom to fit my existing custom interior windows, however, the storm windows I received are not custom and do not line up with my existing interior windows (see photos below). Honestly, I just wanted this fixed as it degrades the look of our home and is not what I ordered. What the company will tell you: 1. They tried to remedy the situation, but the company they use is no longer making storm windows so there is nothing they can do. 2. They apologize if the windows are not aesthetically pleasing or do not meet my expectations (disregarding the fact that they are not what I ordered). 3. They pride themselves on customer service, their reputation, and their customer’s satisfaction. What I will tell you: 1. When I alerted them to the issue, they said, “It is what it is.” They also told me that the storm windows only came in a 50/50 split(and not custom). I contacted the supplier myself and confirmed that the windows are available to order in custom sizes. When I told the company this, they said that they had reached out to the supplier and since they were no longer making storm windows, there was nothing they could do. I asked if there were other solutions, such as contacting another supplier, but I never received an answer to that. They also claim that I didn't tell them of the issue until the job was complete, but I told the installer (who happens to be the owner's sister) at the beginning of day two and her fiancé (the salesman) came out at the beginning of day three to see what the issue was. The job was not completed until the end of day three. I did not correspond with the owner until I filed complaints and contacted a lawyer. 2. "Apologies" aside, I must now pay another company considerably more money to fix the issue caused by STL Windows and Doors. 3. Their actions do not align with priding themselves on customer service. To outline a few of the particulars (without going into too much detail): they’ve blamed the original salesperson who no longer works for the company, they lied about the windows not being available in custom sizes, they then blamed me after I found out that they are available in custom sizes, a window was installed broken and has not been fixed. Please SHARE this with family and friends to help them avoid losing money to false promises. Thankyou!

You sought out a new person every time you received an answer that did not align with your agenda. The correspondence was so aggressive that the agreement our attorney sent you, that you agreed to, signed and states that this matter is fully resolved, specifically outlined a cease of communication from you to our employees and organization. We do absolutely pride ourselves on not only our product and workmanship but also the true desire to help improve our client’s home. Every employee of STL Windows and Doors carries a high morale principal to do what is right for others. We wanted to replace our single-entry hall door and sidelights with a French double door. After checking many reviews about types, construction and styles of various doors, we then checked references and reviews of local companies. We had several come out to show us their products and leave us a quote. After speaking with Rob from StL Windows and Doors, we decided to work with them. Rob listened to what we wanted and what we wanted to spend. He very clearly explained what he suggested, answering all our questions including price, durability and warranty. We were able to pick out exactly the style and color we wanted. Rob did not try to upsell or push unnecessary options. We wound up ordering a Provio American Cherry simulated wood finish fiberglass French style double door. We separately ordered Emtek oil rubbed bronze finished locksets. Our installers, Hannah and Trey, did a beautiful job installing the new door. Not only the door, but the trim work and caulking were perfect. Unfortunately, the lockset did not have some of the correct parts in it and Locks and Pulls, where we ordered the hardware, had to get us the correct items. Hannah installed a temporary lockset. When done they cleaned up everything and hauled the old stuff away. Smooth as silk. When the correct lockset parts came, Kim the StL Doors production manager, came out and installed it. Other than the locksets, which had nothing to do with StL Windows and Doors, the entire process was clean, quick and efficient. We couldn’t be happier and would not hesitate to recommend StL Windows and Doors. They exceeded our expectations. See the photos below. The single dark door was our original door.

Lombardozzi installed a patio door several weeks ago. Thr handle on the door became loose after about 4 weeks. I called Andy, he was very responsive and sent out Hannah the following week. Simple fix, very happy and I can say Lombardozzi stands behind their work. Thank You Andy/Hannah.

Consultation, ordering, and installation was excellent. The best people I have ever dealt with in residential construction. The products they represent are very good quality, they stand behind it, they warranty it, they serve it. You may not find/get this quality and service at your big-box-store. You may not get the same installers each time you use a big-box-store. Lombardozzi is family, they treat you like family, no joke.

It went amazing! Lombardozzi Construction fully exceeded our expectations. Andy was prompt and professional. His carpentry work is sturdy and precise. He was attentive to the details I was looking for and was sure to double check what I wanted if there was a question. It was a multiple day project and he made sure to leave the area clean at the end of each day. As a bonus, he was very patient with my children when they wanted to watch and ask questions. I would highly recommend and will use them again for future projects!

Excellent! The door came in early and scheduled for install within the week it arrived. Installation was very smooth and the Lombardozzi Family is wonderful to work with. They also noticed the problem we had with our front windows and because they install the same windows they fixed our problem for free!! We will definitely work with Lombardozzi again!

From beginning to end it was a great experience with Lombardozzi construction. The attention to detail with their sales consultant Matt was excellent. They walked us through the entire process.
