Guaranteed Roofing & Remodeling

My concerns relating to the material misrepresentations are included, but not limited to the following: 1. Largest insurance claim roofing company in St. Louis. 2. Free, no obligation inspection (did not perform). 3. Meet with the insurance company before the claim was filed (did not do). 4. Family operated company with long history (Established June 24, 2010). 5. Installed over 80 roofs, saving home owners $650,000 since spring of this year (March 20- April 23, 2011). 6. Missouri Attorney General?s Office requires by law that a sales person advise the buyer of the cancellation period and acknowledgement of it as part of any signed contract (did not do). 7. Per City of Ballwin, Guaranteed Roofing does not have the required business solicitation permit to solicit business within its city limits. 8. Representation of your business location as 9849 Manchester, which is a Goin? Postal Store. 9. BBB rating of A- with zero complaints yet GR&R?s BBB file was only opened on 3/10/2011 GR&R also has an extremely restrictive and punitive contract. One example is if this contract is cancelled by the customer later than three (3) days from execution, but prior to commencement of work, customer shall pay to company twenty-five percent (25%) of the contract price as liquidated damages, and not as penalty. I am concerned that GR&R is using these material misrepresentations and an extremely restrictive and punitive contract to unfairly take advantage of homeowners that have recently incurred storm damage. The GR&R sales representative has been seen driving through Ballwin neighborhoods in April and June 2011 and solicits homeowners on their property (similar to door to door salesmen) making the material misrepresentation and describing unethical insurance company practices that are generally unfounded.
