I went to The Gown House to look for a wedding dress for myself. I had a handful of photos pulled from a magazine with an idea of what I thought looked pretty, and lists of what I wanted and did not want. The looked everything over and asked about my budget (max 700) and said she had some ideas. She was very nice, and polite the entire time. I tried on two of the first three dresses, and decided the shape was too much for my frame. Then I went our and looked at dresses with my mom and sister while the assistant pulled gowns. She showed me a tea length, which I liked everything about except the length. My mother and sister and myself pulled several gowns, and I went back to the room with five. There seems to be a limit on how many gowns allowed in the room at a time. I loved the top on two of them, but not the rest of the skirt. After trying on the others (which I didn't like) I asked where we went from there. I was told "we can make one more sweep of the store if you like...." but had the impression I wouldn't find anything I liked with in my price range, but was welcome to look and keep tryingon dresses. I left with the information on the two dresses that I liked the top of (but did not like the skirts of). I was there for about one hour.
I rated that I would use this provider again, but only because having been once I have a better idea of what I want. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who hasn't tried on wedding dresses before. They might be a good place to get prom or bridesmaids dreses, and they seems to have a wide selection of those as well.
