It was beautiful and wonderful. He was recommended to me by my plumber. He helped so much in picking out the tiles for the floor. We got the cultured marble in the tub shower area that was beautiful. He knew all the people. He is great. He was very professional and very helpful. He called before he was coming. He was such a good adviser, he advised me on like sink, I picked up the sink, which I am not happy with but then it is my problem. He had to take out all the ceramic tile, which was up like half way and that was a really hard job and then the shower tub area he had to take all that ceramic tile out which was quite a job. I would use them again in the future.

Jim Owens, the owner, was recommended to me by my plumber, as they have worked together for about 15 years. He was prompt in calling me back, he was on time to do the bid. He was very professional, courteous and attentive while I explained what I wanted. Unlike the other contractors I had bid the job, he took notes and messurements of what needed to be done. We discussed what he would do and what materials he would provide. While discussing the type of tile I wanted for the tub surround and on the floor in the main bath he made no suggestions of what he thought I should get (unlike another contractor) and said he could get what I wanted. As we discussed the bath in the basement, he made several very good suggestions because I wasn't sure what I wanted. This was not high pressured, but done in a friendly way that put me at ease. I, also, asked him if he could do anything with the exterior basement door as it doesn't fit right and leaks air like a sieve. He looked it over and said it could be fixed or replaced at my choice. He told me I would have the bid on Friday and I did. It was reasonable and done in a very professional manor. I chose him to do the work. He told me he would have another carpenter and tile setter he had worked with for years doing most of the work. At first I wasn't sure about this, but was willing to go along and see how it went. Andy turned out to be a master craftsman. He is a maticulious worker, very knowledgeable and has an eye for design that is a wonder to see. While he is a bit messy while working, he always cleaned up be fore he left. We discussed how I wanted the tile on the tub surround and the floor tile set up and his suggestions were fabulious. It turned out so much better than what I had orginally invissioned. We had only one misshap, the floor tiles didn't stick properly to the floor in the main bath, he could have left it and I probably wouldn't have known for awhile until they started coming loose, but he removed them and redid them. Overall, this was a great experience, as I have had problems with contractors in the past and Jim and Andy have restored my faith that there are honest contractors still out there who will do an expectional job at a reasonalble price.
