kitchen remodel and after hearing other horror stories,, I was prepared
for something to go wrong and extra time,, but none of that happened,,
All went extremely well,, and after 1 1/2 years,, there is still
nothing I would change,, used them again on a much smaller project,,and
again,, great!,, will use again for my bathroom,

I now have a gorgeous new kitchen which I love. Michael Dupree, owner, was often on site reviewing the job and saw to it the job was done well. I couldn't be more pleased.

Jackie met with us May 2012 and designed a new kitchen according to our needs and requests.
Micah did the installation and had to deal with uneven walls and floors. The workmanship is wonderful.
The installation took approximately two months and was well worth the time it took. Micah and Jackie both had a strong attention to detail and made sure we were happy with the results.

At the beginning of the process, I met with several different companies to discuss what I wanted to do. Ultimnately, I decided to go with Modern because I felt like Jackie (the designer) was really listening to what I wanted and trying to make it happen. It wasn't about what she wantd or liked, it was about my vision. My husband and his father also really liked Bob who runs the job from the installation standpoint. They felt like he really knew his stuff. I am enjoying the process, but I can't wait until the kitchen is finished. The job is supposed to be complete by mid=February. I will keep you posted.

After a home visit, and estimate we visited the office, and signed a contract for a list of work to be performed in late July. Work was not to begin before sub-contractors inspected the home, and determined the extent of work required. They showed up on Sept. 7 without telling us they were coming. Since beginning work in Sept., it has been one thing after another on why the work was not done in a timely manner or professionally. The original salesman left or was fired. The first subcontractor worked at his leisure, and did not work full days, and missed days at a time. After complaining, and having the project manager (Mike) take over the job, a different subcontractor was brought in to correct all the errors of the first subcontractor. A 3rd person was brought in to finish the job. This 3 week project took over 4 months with continued calls to the office, and no responses to several of our calls. Work performed left much to be desired.

BOB BARR WAS OUR CONTACT. HE WORKED WITH US IN THE EXISTING ROOM TO DESIGN A NEW KITCHEN THAT INCLUDED THE FEATURES WE DESIRED. WE HAD SEVERAL IDEAS AND REQUIREMENTS AND BROUGHT THEM TO BOB. HE DID THE DETAIL DESIGN AND SELECTION OF SPECIFIC CABINETS TO BE INSTALLED. WITH OUR APPROVAL THE CABINETS WERE INSTALLED AND DELIVERED ON OUR TIMETABLE. THERE WERE SOME MISTAKES IN THE ORDER, AND BOB REORDERED THE CORRECT PIECES AND HAD THEM DELIVERED.
