They were very professional and easy to work with.  They had four people working here like clockwork.  They not only took down a tree that was about 50 feet tall but they ground all of the limbs and even removed the debris from the stump.

This company did a terrific job! We have extensive landscaping in our backyard, and they took every measure to insure nothing was ruined or trampled. They were very professional, very friendly, and extremely conscientious to our backyard. They took the time and care to remove any item that may have been damaged (i.e. birdfeeder, decorative fencing, bug zapper, etc.) After the tree was taken down, they cleaned up EVERYTHING! They put back everything as it was, they raked the yard to remove any debris that was too small to pick up, and they cleaned up all the sawdust on our patio, The rose bushes surrounding our tree were not even touched! They did a fabulous job! I would highly recommend them.

I've used Walker Tree Service for almost 20 years. I like the that John doesn't like to top trees or indiscriminately cut them down. He does a good job and I will call him again.

Contact with Walkers starts by leaving a message on the answering machine. Callbacks happen sometimes, or I was missing them. The owner gives written estimates that are detailed and describe exactly the work to be performed. The customer must sign and return a copy of the estimate to agree to the work.
My particular job had to be delayed by two weeks due to the Great Snowpocalypse of 2013. They called the day before the storm and informed me of the delay. The two week delay was at my suggestion, not required by them.
I requested to pay half on the day of service and the other half at the thirty day point and they agreed to this.
On the morning of the work a professional crew showed up and performed the requested work. The wife asked for another large limb to be removed and they agreed to the work, proposed a price and performed the work. They applied sealer to the tree limb they removed, to promote the health of the tree and cleaned up all that was agreed to. They left our spruce tree mulch in a pile to be used in landscaping this spring. (free mulch)
All of their equipment and personel that we experienced were professional. top notch service, overall.

It was a decent price. They did a good job.

Talked to owner personally when requesting estimate on work. Owner visited home shortly after first contact and gave estimate. A work date was set. Workers showed up on time and worked throughtout the day until work was finished. All agreed upon work was completed.

He returned my phone calls on time. He showed up when he said he would. It was a fair price.

Walker's showed up when they said they would, had all the equipment and manpower to cut down and remove a large tree in our front yard. They were professional and courteous.

The work was done quickly and they actually cleaned up almost every last chip. Everything was done as contracted. They have a very good way of describing the work when they give an estimate, also. I'm sure we will call them back when we need more tree work done.

We worked with Mr. Walker. We have used him twice and he is good. He was personable and came in a reasonable amount of time. We had put in a new deck at home and it was close to the tree so we got the trees trimmed by him. He cleaned up all the mess after trimming. He came out, showed us what he is going to do and finished the work on time.

When they came to remove the branch - they had a boom truck to get to the highest part of the branch, They put down plywood in the yard so there were no tracks from the truck or no damage of any kind to the yard. I had checked with our neighbor to access her back yard - but she forgot and the tall wooden privacy fences gate was locked. Part of the tree had to fall in her back yard - and the crew cut it up and threw it over the 6ft fence. They cleaned up both yards - you would never know that they were there. After the moved the truck and the 20 sheets of plywood from the yard - they even raked the grass to an upright position. Very impressive!!!

Jackie was very polite and efficient in the initial call to their office. An appointment was made for John to come and look at the trees that we wanted trimmed back. John was very professional and listened carefully to the work we described. His notes were thorough and accurate. The work was done exactly as we requested and the cleanup was so thorough that we could hardly tell that he had been there.

John Walker came out and gave us a bid. The paperwork described exactly what would be done: take tree down, haul wood away, chip brush, and rake the area. The bid showed the exact placement of the tree and indicated that the company would meet or beat any bid. After accepting the bid, the crew arrived at 7:45 a.m. and very artfully removed the tree in less than 2 hours. The area was raked and actually looked better than before the tree came down! I would hire this company again in a heartbeat. They definitely know what they are doing!
