"[Member Name Removed], as there are two sides to every story I feel obliged to reply here. We offer a satisfaction guarantee and are willing to schedule time to do a walk through with our customers. However, it took 3 days of us trying to contact you via multiple different methods to secure payment. After 3 days of no contact, and finally reaching you, you said you had decided you were unhappy with the work despite the fact that you told me you had pulled up to your home right after we had left. At that point in time you could've called, told us you were unhappy, and we would've gladly turned around to discuss your concerns. Even after doing the walk through with your wife who said you'd be very happy with it. It is standard procedure for us to file mechanics liens for non payment after 5 business days of no contact, but you told me over the phone on the 3rd day that you weren't paying unless we hand scrubbed the back of the house, which was stained with a color identical to that of the stain on your pergola attached to the house. Some hand scrubbing is required with every house wash, but an entire side of the home would be an additional cost. We couldn't risk completing another day worth of work only to be told that you weren't going to pay for that either. I sincerely regret that we ended up at this point, especially since we've built a wonderful reputation in Kansas City, but I think we misunderstood each other's expectations on your project from start to finish. We wish you the best."
