Very friendly company who came over and tested our basement for mold that we smelled and assumed was from a previous leak we had down there. They isolated the locations of most trouble and helped remove and clean the damaged and concerning areas which included some drywall, carpet, and concrete walls were cleaned professionally. Final tests came back that our home was clean of mold and we are very happy we contacted them to help us fix this issue.

It went really well, they did a really nice job. Joe is really responsive, he was very professional and I would definitely recommend him.

Very professional and knowledgeable! We had water in our basement and Marshall Restorations was fast to respond and so helpful. Woke up on a holiday to standing water in a large area of my recently finished basement. I was worried that no one would answer my call until the following business day but to my surprise my call was returned promptly and a techniciaome was at my home within a couple of hours. All the work was explained thoroughly and my time and home were respected every in each step of the process.

Power Washing was ok. Contractor verbally committed multiple times to brushing on stain application rather than spraying because of overspray concerns. On the day of the job, I showed up at start of the job and they were in the process of using a sprayer system on an extremely windy day despite what they had told me. I terminated the job immediately.

When I had the job originally quoted, I asked if they stained the deck by hand so that there wouldn't be any overspray on the siding of the house. I was assured that they would take steps to make sure there would be no overspray. There was overspray all over the back of the house. They returned 2 times trying to get the overspray off but it didn't come off. We were very disappointed with the job overall.

WORST DECISION & EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Poor communication - They didn't do what they said they would do. Poor workmanship - They damaged and splintered my whole deck powerwashing, leaving some of my spindles tangling. No common sense how to stain a deck. Was supposed to be brushed, instead it was rolled with very little stain leaving overlaps and half a$$ sprayed the spindles. Some baords and spindles with no stain at all. They showed up the day after a bad storm when they stained my deck. Therefore my deck wasn't dry when they stained it and the stain discolored my deck in several places throughout. I think they hire people from labor ready with no experience to do their jobs.

Poor from the start. Terrible communication. Never called when they said they would and never came out when they said they would except after multiple calls/texts. I always had to instigate the communication with them and there was always an excuse. Shawna, who I assumed is one of the owners, claimed she would make it right but in the end I was the only one that suffered. The ONLY thing they got right was the bill. I guess "making it right" is just something you tell people to make them feel better about your crappy service. Made it clear what color we wanted from the start. Told me they would come out and do some test stains of multiple colors prior to doing the work. Well when the day came to do the work, the workers came with ONE color and claimed to know nothing about doing anything else. I contact Shawna who proceeds to tell me they brought out multiple colors. So it's pretty clear either the workers do what they want or the owners don't really want to do what they say they will. In either case, the customer is the one who gets screwed. She always had excuses and acted blind to everything that was going on. This isn't rocket science so why the process was so difficult is beyond me.

I had to call or email Stain Pro several times to get them to give me an estimate, set-up a date after I accepted their estimate, and to ask why they didn't show on the date we agreed. The finally showed up late in the day and rushed through the staining job. Missed a couple of spots and didn't get all the over-spray cleaned up. They were cheap (1/3 of the other estimates), but Good Work Ain't Cheap & Cheap Work Ain't Good. Lesson learned.

Poorly - they oversprayed the stain onto the house, driveway and my car. They had to come out three times to try to clean it and were only partially successful. When I told them that I would only pay after they remediated the situation (which I did within 12 hours of their mediocre cleaning job) they went door to door to my neighbors saying I hadn't paid them and wanted to know where I worked. This was the same day that they were out trying to clean up their sloppy staining job. I was going to not leave any reviews until my neighbors approached me and told me that she was telling all of them that I had not paid them.

We chose Stain Pro over others because they explained to us our options clearly and recommended what is best for us. They were willing to work with us on our stain color requirements. In true professionalism, they have done a very clean and thorough job on time. Their website with information, testimonials and pictures along with 2-3 years warranty was a big draw as well. We have already recommended Stain Pro services to our neighbors.

We had a flooded basement as a result of a frozen pipe. Flood Pro was quick to respond, very professional, and easy to work with. Joe was good about keeping me informed.

I woke up to a brand new finished basement with standing water. I thought to myself, "who do I call" and the first thing that popped into my head was an ad I had seen in my local newspaper for The Flood Pro. A friend had used them and talked about how pleased she was with the work they had done at her house so I knew I could trust them. I made the call early on a Sunday morning over a holiday weekend. I was unable to reach anyone so I left a message thinking there was no chance I would be getting a call back before the work week would begin but to my surprise I was being called back in a matter of minutes. The Flood Pro is located North of Kansas City and I live in Chillicothe, which is about a 75 mile distance but they said they would go that far and took down directions to my home. Two representatives from The Flood Pro were at my door in less then three hours and I was never so glad to hear the door bell ring. The Flood Pro crew came in and immediately went to work extracting water from my brand new carpet in my kids' play area.  The crew asked all sorts of questions about water line locations and suck and quickly determined that they needed to cut away a section of drywall to see the concrete foundation wall behind it.  To my horror there was a large crack with water steadily streaming in and flooding under the wall into the carpet. The Flood Pro crew advised us on how to get the water leak stopped and gave us advice on who to call for the foundation repairs. They did not leave that afternoon until all the carpet pad had been removed from the house and no standing water was present. They sat down with me and detailed a plan of action on how to rectify the situation. I was so pleased with how they followed the job through to completion and my kids are back to playing. I do not consider myself a contractor by any means so it was helpful that they took the time to explain each step and the amount of time and money they estimated it would take. They were very accurate on both and I cannot be more pleased with the way things turned out. 

Since the water damage incident I have called on The Flood Pro to clean my air ducts and to clean my carpets as well.  I was concerned about the amount of drywall dust that was in the home after construction but the builder did not clean it before we moved in.  So when I read over some of their information during the water damage ordeal and saw that The Flood Pro also cleans air ducts I booked an appointment right away.  I feel so much better knowing that my kids are breathing the cleanest air possible in our home and not a bunch of drywall dust particles.  The Flood Pro also did a great job on the chocolate pudding stains left in the carpet from my little ones' fingers!!!

The Flood Pro was called out after a tenant called and told me of a leaking roof in my rental property.  Upon my inspection it was apparent that it had been leaking for some time and my concern was that there now may be a mold issue in the ceiling and walls.  I haven't dealt with any mold issues before and asked around to for someone who could detect this and do the repairs needed as well as clean the carpets.  I was told about Flood Pro and gave them a call.  Someone was out that afternoon who diagnosed the problem in detail.  They stated that there was a hole in the old roof which needed to be repaired and suggested that this get repaired before they did the repairs on the interior.  They actually tarped the roof, used a moisture detection tool to diagnose the walls/ceilings of any possible mold/moisture issues which was removed immediately, cleaned the carpets and covered the holes temporarily until the roof was repaired.  I then contacted a roofer that I have used before to fix the roof which took about a week to get lined up(thank goodness for the tarp job they provided because it rained two more times in that week).  I then called them back to finish the job which was completed just as described. I was impressed by the total job these guys did which usually I would have to find, or do myself, two or more guys to get the best deal.  After getting the bid, it was a no brainier to use these guys for the whole job.  I will definitely use Flood Pro again if any moisture problems arise.
