About us

GeeksDTS an after hours Veteran Owned Computer Repair and services owned by Tom Burgdorf and works as IT Professional. After many requests from friends and coworkers asking if I did any computer repair work in our free time, I finally decided to start my own after hours IT company. We are available on evenings and weekends. This allows me to help our local community with their IT & computers needs, and Geeks Down The Street was born.

My experience with him was very good. He set up what I needed to be set up. He was very good about explaining what he was doing and then took the additional step of showing me several tools that would be beneficial. His price was very reasonable and so it was excellent. It was an excellent experience and he was a professional. He was somebody that did this as a second job. So he had evening appointments available which was great. That was definitely convenient for those that worked during the day.

Tom sent me an email the same day I contacted him, and came by the next evening to my home to look at my computer. I had malware, and problems with my keyboard/mouse. He works after hours, which is great for people who work during the day, and he came to my home. After a short time working on my computer, he told me he would take my computer and figure out what was wrong and give me a call. He contacted me a couple of days later and brought my computer back to my home, set it up, and made sure everyting was running as good a new.
He took the time to explain how to avoid malware, and answered all my questions. He even showed me how to use certain keys on my keyboard I didn't know about. He helped me with software to make sure all my programs are up to date and recommended some peripheral devices to help me.
You just don't find vendors who take the time to make sure the 'customer' is 100% satisfied.
