FAMILY TREE NURSERY

Early in May I stopped by the store for some shopping and also ended up making an appointment with John X to come to my house for an estimate on a project to make three flower beds and plant a tree in my front yard. He showed up on time on the appointed day. I let him know right away that I am an unconfident landscaper and was looking for a professional to give me a lot of input. We consulted for and hour and a half, he took measurements and said he'd e-mail a drawing, suggested plantings and a price to me. The e-mail took a couple of weeks. When I received it I had some more questions and he answered those in a couple of days. I still had some reservations about some of his recommendations and we went back and forth on those. Time between messages got longer and longer. After a month went by, and I hadn't heard from him in the last two, I called him at the store. Imagine my surprise when he told me that my proposed project was turned over to someone in another department because, "My manager thinks this is taking up too much of my time". I asked for that person's name and had to leave a voice message for her. She never did call me. I hope this is the first and last time I'll be fired by a business.
