Completely pulling and replacing a 200 amp circuit breaker panel in an older home is no simple task, but AAA Electric handled it expertly. The old panel, located in a garage, had become corroded from years of moisture, the breakers were failing one-by-one due to this corrosion, and it was becoming a fire hazard. I had two choices, either replace the entire panel or continue replacing old breakers one-at-a-time -- changing the entire panel was the best choice. The project took most of a day, but Jerome (electrician) still did everything he could to minimize the outage time, and kept us informed of when the power would be out, and when it would be back on. The new panel was installed more "cleanly" than the old panel had been -- yes, it's just a big gray box with switches, but it's still appreciated to have an electrician who mounts it straight and does all of the wiring as neatly as possible. All wiring was carefully labeled as it was removed, and was installed in the new panel in the exact same positions as the old panel. When finished, Jerome went through every room of the house with us to ensure that all was working well. No more flashing lights, no more electrical bzzzzzzt sounds coming from the old circuit breakers in my garage! This is my first report on AAA Electric, but I am a repeat customer, Jerome has worked both on my home and my office in the past. I will definitely use them for future electrical needs.
Description of Work: Most recent work was to replace an old circuit breaker panel with a new GE panel. AAA has previously done other work for me both at home and at my office.
