Both projects went extremely well.  They were finished on time and within budget.  Communication with Jesse was always very good and he did a great job of making suggestions to make the finished projects even better than what we expected.  His workers all seemed to work incredibly hard and were always friendly and courteous.  Vision Landscaping's prices are not the cheapest and not the most expensive but are an incredible value for the quality of work you receive. If you want your project done right, better than you'd expect, and done on time you need to call Vision Landscaping!!!!!!

For three years I have been searching for ways to replace the floor of our covered patio.  The original mosaic tile was coming off in any area that had contact with significant amounts of water, particularly along the line where the guttering overflowed,  I didn't want to use anything that required the use of concrete as a base because I know the ground is shifting and feel certain that the odds are very good that we would have cracks in the near future. We also had some quirky issues because the patio is curved, surrounded by a brick wall, with two decorative iron pillars in the middle. 
I saw a supplier of recycled granite pavers at the Johnson County Home and Garden Show this year and liked both the look and the construction process.  When I contacted them for an estimate I was told that the person who did all of their work was Jesse Phillips of Vision Landscape LLC.  I contacted Jesse for an estimate.
When Jesse came to my house to provide an estimate he was very encouraging about the potential for the patio. He explained the process completely. When asked about the possibility of completing the project before Mother's Day weekend he found a way to work it into his schedule. Though the project had to be delayed slightly because of weather issues, the patio was completed within a week of the original date.  A few of the final finishing aspects (a 2nd application of the polymeric sand, sealing of the granite plus some details that remain) will need to be completed in the next month but the patio can be used in the meantime. Because Jesse has proven to be very reliable, I trust everything will be completed as promised.  Jesse created the design and laid the pavers for the entire patio himself.  He was very detail-oriented and worked hard to make sure it looked good.  Many of the pavers had to be cut to go around the brick wall so the job was very time-consuming.  I really appreciate his attention to detail and accuracy.
In a gate area where there are electrical wires between the patio lights, the wires were accidentally cut when the concrete between the end of the patio and a sidewalk was being cut to be replaced.  Because I wasn't home at the time the accident occurred, Jesse told me about it as soon as I returned.  He had already replaced the wiring and fixed the problem. I appreciated his honesty and effort to fix the problem correctly.
The patio looks wonderful.  Having seen it when wet, I know it will look even better when we are able to have the sealing process completed.
I am very pleased with the work that Jesse Phillips did on my patio.  He completed the project within the time frame promised and at the estimated cost.  He was a great person to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
