(1) They are unable to execute my simple request: call me 48 hours before they intend to service my lawn so that I can have it prepared for you (leaves raked and lawn mowed). I have gone round and round with both the awful woman who answers the phone at the office and Service Manager Brandon regarding this request. The technicians continued to just show up with no warning.
(2) My lawn looks like crap. After two years of Scotts service, I expect it to be green. It is not. Every time the service technicians leave the Scotts sign at the end of my driveway I want to remove it because I have no desire to advertise for them. However, I leave it there so that everyone who drives by can see what a crappy job Scotts does. You?re welcome.
(3) The awful woman who answers the phone could not possibly be more rude.

Her condescending tone is not appropriate for a customer service position. She is awful. I never want to speak to her, however she will never connect me with a supervisor/manager. She always states that nobody is available. Really? You?re Scotts Lawn Service. There cannot possibly only be one person to talk to ? ESPECIALLY someone as awful as her.
.(4) Most of all, like I said above, my lawn looks like crap. Don't use Scotts. It is a waste of money.

I started calling the customer service since February this year 2015, to make sure to put a plan for the new season, and i requested to meet with a lawn manager, with no results ! At the same time i started receiving calls from them to collect a bill of 90$ from the last year for their horrible service they provided, i was very clear and told them i need first to speak to a manager and make a plan. Instead to resolve the problem and make things right, i was stunned to know that they have sent the non-paid bill to a collection agency,
I called again and i was lucky enough to speak to a manager after i insisted, and he started blaming me in a very disrespectful manor for me not paying that bill !!! After long discussion, he reviewed the notes on the account and found that there were a big problems with my lawn last season, then apparently he tried to convince me that they provided the revival treatment and the seeding last year, which is not true, because i didn't see any notes on the door, neither i saw the seedings then nor a new growth in my lawn.
At the end, i requested to speak to the same manager i talked to last year, and till now ( Monday, April 13th) after more than a week, no one did get back to me yet.
Even i was more shocked to know that they have done it with another customer as well, exactly with the same nonprofessional way,
who also ended up dealing with collecting agency ( look for Review Dated: January 12, 2015, here on Angie's list ).
I Have paid them almost 700$ last year for their horrible work, and they are still asking me to pay that 90$, they have never told me that they Have sent it to collection, instead to resolve the problem with me directly and compensate for my loss. I wished i could find a way to upload the few pics of the horrible lawn i took with that manager in october last season.
So, I was really disappointed with their horrible service and the way how they treat their customers and by he nonprofessional way of treating such problem. I found that there is no inter-communication between the employees, and that they have a very poor follow up system, specially their managers.
I would not use them again neither i recommend them to anyone. in the future.
