I travel between Kansas City and Omaha, Nebraska every week for work. On Tuesday, April 9, 2013, I was caught out in a severe hailstorm and my car's windshield was badly cracked as a result. I wanted to get the damage corrected right away but am only at home Thursday night through Monday mornings, so Friday and Saturday was my window for getting the work completed.
After receiving a recommendation from my service advisor at the Honda dealership and doing research on Angie's List, I called the Merriam, Kansas location of Sante Fe Glass on Friday morning (April 12). The people I spoke with on the phone were very pleasant and efficient and they quickly worked out the details of what I needed and offered to make an appointment to come do the work on the following Monday. When I told them that I had to take the care out of town first thing Monday morning and asked if they could work me in that day, the manager agreed to ask the technicians if they could accommodate my schedule. The manager called back within five minutes and confirmed that the installer would be able to work me in that afternoon.
The installer arrived on site at my house at about 3:30 on Friday afternoon (which was the promised time) and had the new windshield installed by just after four o'clock. He was very friendly and professional and the work was done very well. The new windshield is an exact replacement for the original Honda glass and the new gasket looks exactly as the original did.
At this point, I am completely satisfied with the work performed and with the overall service experience. Time will tell with regard to leaks and how well the materials hold up, but I do not expect any problems. The quality of work and materials looks to be very high and the work is warranted for as long as I own the car, so I am confident no matter what.
I highly recommend Sante Fe Glass. Their prices are very fair and the service is excellent. I hope I don't need any more glass repairs, but I definitely would use them again and would unreservedly recommend them to anyone else needing this type of work done.

I refinished an antique vanity and needed the mirror, which was graying, replaced as a final touch. It was cut in a very difficult pattern. I brought it in in its frame and was pleased that it was cut properly, and put back in the frame for me. I thought that the price was very reasonable.

The overall experience was very good. My only problem was that the two different people I talked to on the phone about scheduling used different criteria for payment. One wanted a credit card--which I had stopped because it was in my purse which had been stolen, and the other one wanted a check. I waited a week to get the window fixed because I was waiting on my new credit card. Had I known I could have paid by check, I would have had the work done a week sooner. So when I called back with my new credit card number, that woman wanted a check. They need to have a uniform way to do this.

Very reasonable price. Less than competitors by far. Workman was very polite and professional.

Cheapest I could find by quite a bit, and I'm not unhappy with the result.
