Everything went smooth as promised.  Kevin was flexible to be there at precisely the time I needed them so that it coordination with our cable installation schedule and the Royal's game that was playing later that day.  The job took a little longer than he expected due but they stayed to complete it... without charging extra for surprises they encountered.  They were very consultative and provided expert suggestions that I'm glad I listened to.  Extremely professional!

I had used Kevin and team at SoundBytes earlier this year to reconfigure our Home Theater in a Box system and set up two universal remotes in our previous home. I was so pleased with their service that when we spontaneously decided to move to a new house, there was no question as to who I wanted to mount our flat screen TVs, install a new Bose sound bar and generally get everything up and running. Kevin and I corresponded in advance and he addressed a number of questions I had. On the appointment day, Kevin and his colleague, Brandon, arrived right on time and worked for nearly seven hours, part of which was spent assessing an unforeseen problem they ran into with regard to cable outlet positioning in our master bedroom. They returned three days later to deal with that problem and had everything up and running well. Two weeks later, I asked Kevin to come back out and install three new cable boxes, as I had decided to change my cable service configuration, and also to deal with a couple minor issues we'd been experiencing with one of the universal remotes. He handled everything on my list and all components are operating flawlessly. Only after this last visit did he bill me for his / Brandon's services, as he wanted to be sure I was fully satisfied before he did so. I thought his price was extremely fair.

Kevin is a rare business person in this day and age. He does what he says he's going to do, does quality work, and is not satisfied until his customer is satisfied. I have communicated with him via text message, email and in person and he is always excellent about getting back to me. My job was quite small in the overall spectrum of things he and his colleagues work on but he never made me feel like anything other than his top priority. I would give him and the SoundBytes crew my highest recommendation!

I was able to schedule a walk-through with Kevin (one of the owners) within a week of initially contacting SoundBytes through Angie's list. He listened very well and did a great job of recommending a reasonable solution for the size and scale of my home. I received an estimate within a couple of days and scheduled the work within a week of receiving it. One the appointment day, Kevin and two co-workers showed up exactly on time and wrapped up all of the work within a couple of hours. They were hampered somewhat by the national ATand T Uverse outage that morning but if they were frustrated, it certainly didn't show. When they were finished, Kevin sent the two co-workers on to their next job and stayed behind to give me a thorough tutorial on the operation of the new remotes - he had to go through it twice since operation was slightly different in each of the location in the house. It was a great experience working with SoundBytes from start to finish and I will definitely use Kevin and team again for future home electronics-related projects.

The team was friendly and on time. They kept me updated on the progress of the installation. I was very impressed with everything. All of our unsightly cords (to the PlayStation, XBox and TV) are now neatly hidden away,and best of all, I can actually work the remote. Great company!

Since I moved I needed to have my four TV's, blu-ray, and DVR installed and set-up, I contacted this business thru email and received a prompt response. My equipment is a few years old and it took some additional time to program a new universal remote; however, I was very pleased with the set-up and the directions provided on the new remote. I also received contact information in case I had questions on the set-up and the remote. I will definitely use this business again and highly recommend them.

3/2013 - I emailed Chris with a troubleshooting question on my Onkyo receiver. Chris called back promptly with a potential solution and offered to come out if it didn't work. It worked!!
The customer service from these guys is amazing. They are worth every penny!!

The SoundBytes team did a wonderul job installing our video equipment (including climbing ladders in 100+ degree temps). The configuration works great and met all of our expectations. We had purchased some of our equipment (thinking we could install it). Unlike other companies SoundBytes didn't try to pressure us into 'their' equipment. We were given a detailed quote that included all of the things SoundBytes thought were good ideas (and they were) for us. We were not forced into buying things we didn't need or didn't have the budget for at the time. We got what we wanted and are very happy with what we got.

I invited three Angie's List contractors in for quotes, including Kevin from SoundBytes. I'm a huge music fan, so Sonos was a priority. Kevin had in-depth knowledge and experience setting up these systems. They were not the cheapest quote, but I had much more confidence in the SoundBytes team, so selected them.

I was not the easiest guy to service. I started off wanting a surround system with in-wall speakers and they provided me with quotes. I slowly modified my requirements over time and decided to use my budget for high quality, floor-standing front speakers instead of a surround theater (I listen to music more than I watch movies). I also purchased a Sonos zone speaker for upstairs.

Kevin and Chris were awesome throughout the process. I set an appointment to visit their showroom with a stack of CD's so I could demo speakers and talk more about the project. Although I know they were busy, they were always patient with me. The installation was a breeze and they took the time to get Sonos installed on every computer and device in our home. At the conclusion of the installation, Kevin spent about 30 minutes walking me through how to use the remote.

Would highly recommend these guys. If you're shopping Angie's, pay a few dollars more to get the best service. They are there for you after installation to help troubleshoot. We're now adding on outdoor speakers with them and I'm sure will expand our media room(s) over time.

Kevin and Chris were great. They were prompt and responsive to any questions we had. We even had a question one Friday night, which was afer we had paid, and they helped us resolve the problem that night. Everything is awesome. I highly recommend them.

Kevin arrived on time, got the system running again, and showed me how to make connections for streaming video from computers so that the connections will not be messed up over the next holiday. Also helped me with a networking problem with my printer. Cost was reasonable and Kevin did not talk down to me because I could not get things working on my own.

After 2+ hours of very diligent analysis, and alternative setups through trial and error, Kevin determined that the issue was a defective cable box. He solved the problem that 2 service reps from the TV and DVD maker + a service rep from the cable company couldn't solve. Think about that when looking for someone that can - and really WILL - help you with your AV problems and/or setup.

I was impressed having spent hours myself fooling with the system involving lengthy consults with Sony's support stafff.

I like high end audio systems, my wife has a major issue with free standing speakers and component racks. Checked Angies List and found Sound Bytes, glad it did. I'm not impulsive and study the heck out of stuff before I make a decision. Looked at B&W and Moton products that I planned on purchasing and hiring some one to install. Chris Kemp came over, listened to what I had planned including my wife's concerns. He explained the difficulty of getting a good sound system in the room we had to work with. High ceilings, wood floor, and large wall openings. He recommended Totum Accoustic in ceiling speakers with a in wall sub that would be mounted behind our sofa. Never heard of Totum Accoustic so I contacted a B&W dealer in St. Louis to confirm it was a good product. Dealer said he had a set at home and loved them. Still skeptical, Chris ordered in a demo speaker from the Manufacuter and did a demo at our house. I was sold. I had a outlet to get a highend Onkyo AV Reciever at a very good price. Chris matched the price and convinced me to purchase from him for warranty. Good advice, the unit had some issues shortly after install, Chris replaced it promtly at no cost. We also purchased a radio controlled universal remote. Once the system was installed Chris and crew trained us onhow to operate the system. Allot to soak in, Chis had to come back and re train us of which he did promtly with no additional charge. The system rocks, blue ray amazing. Threw a party to watch the Chiefs get upset in Okland, TV surrond sound was like being there. Tunes after the game blew my guests away.
