We bought our adjustable bed at Hawn Bedding 15 years ago and couldn't be happier with both the whole bedding set-up and the service. When we replaced the mattresses last week, they went the extra mile to ensure we got exactly the right level of cushion/support. The delivery team were on time, wore masks and were extra careful to protect our walls and floors. The staff have been there for years, knows the products and works hard to ensure the customer gets exactly what they want and need. I would never go to anyone else.

Love my bed. I'm a strong believer in natural latex mattresses. You do have to flip them though and they are heavy.

On a Wednesday afternoon, I visited the Hawn Bedding Company to ask about them making me a custom size foam mattress to replace the cushions on a sofa. I needed something quite firm. The gentleman who waited on me showed me their 4 inch and 6 inch foam, both of which were very firm. He also showed me a mattress that had the cover fabric and cording they would use for my job. I gave him the measurements and put down a deposit. As promised, the mattress was finished and I picked it up the next Friday morning!! Done in a day and a half!! I was very pleased with their courtesy and professionalism, as well as their amazing quickness. I recommend them to anyone needing a custom mattress.

They have a superior product-a comfortable bed. This is our second bed we bought from them. We went up in size from a Queen to a King. We still have the Queen is our guest room, it's still wonderful. They make their bed at their shop. We asked for a custom box springs which they did to fit our bed frame. Simple and straight forward.

The mattress began to break down within 2 weeks, They came out, took the mattress back for repairs. Again, within 2 weeks the mattress began to imprint in the area of use. After 2 years and faithfully spinning and flipping the mattress, it shows lots of wear. We had Hawn come back out and were told this is 'normal wear' and that our only option was to change the mattress. The Ten year warranty does not apply to 'normal wear and tear'. We do not recommend this company or the product.

In 1991, we purchased a waterbed and the platform for it. In October, 2011our second or third waterbed mattress sprang a leak. Since my husband and I are getting older, we decided to replace the waterbed mattress with a conventional mattress in order to make getting out of bed easier. Unfortunately for us, our waterbed frame is made for the increasingly more obsolete California queen size. So, we decided to see what the Hawn Bedding Company, which manufactures custom mattresses in Lee's Summit, could offer us. The salesman was very helpful and did not waste our time. Only a few of the mattresses in the showroom were suitable for our needs, and he was upfront about that. He let us try out all of them as much as we wanted and even got another employee to help him move one mattress to another frame so that it would feel more like what our waterbed frame would be like. The salesman also explained the differences between the available mattresses carefully and waited patiently while my husband and I had our usual discussion about what level of firmness we wanted. Finally, we made our decision and placed our order. The salesman even let us go home to check our measurements for the order after he explained the best way to measure length, width, and depth of what essentially is the box we have. We went home and rechecked the measurements and called Hawn Bedding Company right away. There was no trouble in double checking that our order was correct. It took about five days for our custom mattress to be made. It was delivered exactly as promised. One nice aspect of our new mattress is that we can turn it over to extend its longevity. We have been sleeping on our new mattress for about six weeks now. My husband is quite satisfied, and I am even happier than I thought I would be. It turns out that I am getting a better-quality sleep on the conventional mattress than I ever did with our waterbed mattresses; I have been consistently waking up much more rested. (I know I sound like a TV commercial, but this has been my actual experience.) So, while I cannot yet verify that the mattress will last as long as promised, everything else Hawn Bedding Company promised us about our new mattress happened. Plus my night's sleep is much better. I think our purchase was a good value for our particular situation.
