Scott's Restoration

We had a great experience with Scott and would highly recommend him. We have a screened-in deck that needed re-staining. Scott came by for an estimate, and his price was very reasonable. Once the cold weather had cleared, he contacted us to set up a date. He and his employee came over early one morning and got started. They removed all our furniture, as well as removed a screen door and all our screens, and did all the cleaning and pressure washing, removing the old stain, etc., in order to prepare the deck for new staining. Once this was completed, they waited a few days, then returned. They showed us a couple of sample colors painted on our deck. We picked a color, and they completed the staining that day, which was an all-day job. They then put our door and screens back on, put our furniture back in place, and cleaned up everything. Our deck is on a walk-out, so there are a lot of steps, and it is covered/screen-in, so a big job. The deck looks beautiful! We are so happy with how it turned out and how things went along the way. There were some delays due to the bad weather, but communication was good throughout. We definitely made the right choice in hiring Scott and would hire him again.

Scott responded immediately to my call, and put us on his schedule at the first opening. He arrived on time, on the day promised. He completed the work in a timely manner, and cleaned up all supplies and surrounding area. Great work!

The owner, Scott, came out to give me a quote and test a spot on my deck to make sure his chemicals could strip the old dark stain off. He came back at a later date to clean and strip my deck. It looked like a new deck when he was done. He put on a sample of the stain I had picked out on an area of the deck to verify that was still the color I wanted. He came back the next week to stain it. My deck looks amazing and a lot lighter color than before. I was impressed by Scott's professionalism and high level of customer service.

At an arranged date, Scott came to my home. He examined the deck and porch carefully to the point of testing my woods reaction to the chemicals he uses. After the examination he explained the process to me and then made a proposal for the job. On the arranged date, they treated all of the wood and power washed it to bring it back to its original color. After a drying period they showed examples of their stains on my wood. I made a selection and the stain was applied. The result is better than expected. During this process which took parts of several days, Scott was in communication with me on all scheduling.

Awesome! Scott does excellent work, spent significant amount of time with us during estimate, used his own chemicals during estimate to demonstrate stripping/cleaning process. Gave realistic timeline of when to expect work to be completed and his bid was significantly less than other bids. End result was fantastic and should last 4-5 years. He stained deck, covered patio, and fence.

Scott was professional and informative. He came to our home to give a free estimate and explained process and time line of power washing and staining in detail. We have a two story screened in and covered wood deck and stairs leading up to it. The power washing was done one day and left to dry. Days after the power washing was done, he applied two sample stain colors for us to choose from. Scott then came back and stained the deck and stairs. The wood looks like new! We are very pleased with the work and the final look. I would recommend this company!!

Scott was very professional, on time, and called a few days ahead if he needed to reschedule my deck work (reschedule was due to weather). I had called 3 other companies, one never showed up, one was very expensive and did not come across as very professional and one said that he uses random sub-contractors to do the actual work. It's difficult enough to find people who show up and do what they say they will do so I knew not to trust that company. Scott seems to be running a "real" business and takes seriously his reputation as a professional. I will definitely use Scott's Restoration again and I feel very comfortable recommending him to others.

We had several ayers of stain and paint on a 15 year old deck. Scott stripped it down to bare wood and after a few days of drying, stained a beautiful natural color. We are using our deck again!

Scott and his crew were courteous and completed the work as agreed. I would recommend and am planning to hire his company to retreat all the wood structures on a regular basis going forward in order to keep them looking great.

Scott is very professional, friendly. He went the extra mile and washed and stained a swing that was under the deck. He also moved all of the furniture from the deck and put it back. I strongly reccomend Scotts Restoration!

Scott came to my house, measured, applied a sample of cleaner to deck floor, and gave me a quote. I also had received quotes from 2 others that were similar in pricing. I liked Scott's process better and also because to re-stain/seal the deck floor would only cost $75 2-3 years down the road. He pressured washed/restored the fence and deck first. You could really see a difference in the appearance of the wood, even though my fence was only 10 months old. The deck had been previously stained and sealed a year ago, but it didn't hold up well and didn't look good anymore. After the restoring process, it looked brand new. Due to weather conditions he was delayed a little bit in getting started on the stain/seal process. He completed the fence one day, then completed the deck a week later. There were weather issues again and the Thanksgiving holidays. The delay also gave me a chance to get some lattice work installed that I wanted stained/sealed as well. Before doing the deck, he sanded the floor and all of the railings to a smooth finish. Everything looks really nice and I am pleased.

Two men worked several hours stripping everything off the deck with a remover and water pressure. About a week they came back and stained the wood. It stained and sealed and preserves the wood. Looks great and no signs of fading.

Scott was great! He and his gang did excellent work on a very large job. They worked efficiently, professionally and took great care to keep the area clean. Some weather issues (rain and severe heat) caused some delays, but the final product looks terrific. It's fair to say that all of the homeowners love their and quot;newand quot; decks!!

We chose Scott because of his advertising and williness to provide addresses where he had done work, also because of his professional demeanor and level of knowledge. His price was reasonable and about what we had expected. He arrived when he said he would and was courteous, efficient, and thorough. He was professional at all times. He worked quickly but took particular care to do an excellent job on all the surfaces. He worked all day in unbelievable heat on the deck. We were very pleased with his work and highly recommend him for all wood surface restoration.

This was our first year to hire our fall treatment out on our yard and now I don't know why we didn't do it sooner. Scott worked for over four hours getting our yard prepped for seed. It was a rough summer and we had a fungus in our back yard that had killed a large section of grass. Scott was here when he said he would be, worked hard until it was done and used all Grasspad products to boot. I can't rent the equipment and buy the product for what he charged to do it for me. We live too far from the closest rental place and I can never get the yard done in the minimum 3 hours. Scott was also great about staying clear from the sprinkler heads and cleaning up the enormous mess that was left behind of thatch and dead grass.
