The job of replacing my old septic tank was scheduled for a couple weeks after he (Scott) came out for an estimate. Due to bad weather he was about one week behind. No big deal since it was not and emergency and the weather was not his fault. He called two days before he was to arrive to be sure the work was still to be done. He was going to drop off equipment only on that day because of severe thunderstorms coming in. On that morning he showed up and said he was gonna knock it out that morning since the storm was not gonna hit till later that afternoon. Work progressed until he found the pipes, now since this is a very old farm house everything was not plumbed as expected but as his help stayed to continue the work Scott had to run to town (no short trip from here) to gather additional supplies. What
should have been a six hour job turned into an eight and half hour job. After the most extreme ingenuity the job was finally finished. I was very happy with both of their attitudes and friendliness for the entire job no matter the obstacles. I was originally quoted 2600.00 and was charged 2700.00 due to unforeseen circumstances which I have absolutely no problem with since I witnessed the nightmare left behind by the original plumbing. I believe he was being very generous in only charging me 100.00 above the quote and for that I am thankful. I would definitely use Dykes Construction again with any of my construction needs.

Scott is very easy to work with and he is very reasonably priced. We had the first job quoted from another source and the estimate was at least twice what Scott charged to do the work.
I would definitely recommend him if you need septic work done.
