A-1 ALL STORAGE

We were looking for a self-storage to hold items while we're between moves. I reached the owner on the first call and made an appointment to meet him to inspect the storage units.  He met us right on time and showed us all of his available sizes.  He is the owner/operator and lives directly across the road from the storage units and keeps an eye on the property at all times. We paid three months' rent up front (a minimum 3 month commitment is required) although we were only required to pay a small deposit.  While the units are 16 years old, you can not tell based on the great care that has been given to their maintenance.  To keep the units in top shape, you are not allowed to storage food items, fuels (can drain fuels from lawn mowers, etc.), pets.  The owner builds and provides wooden pallets for you to use to keep your items off of the floor...although there were no signs of leaks. Pros: Fast, friendly response to my call of inquiry Units are monitored by the owner who lives across the street Units are very well kept and clean Easy access to the units No smoking, alcohol or tobacco allowed on premises Owner provides wooden pallets you can use to get your items off the ground (although no sign of water leaks) Cons: Not climate controlled No electrical outlets No lights (access to unit is limited to sunrise to sunset) No vehicles allowed in storage No security system (but owner lives across the street and keeps an eye on the units)
