Lake Ozark REI

Sadly, Jeff of Lake Ozark REal Estate Inspection did a very poor job inspecting our home. He missed large amounts of wood rot that we later found there was clear evidence of. We've had several contractors and inspectors come out since and they have been shocked by Jeff's failure to report it or suggest further inspections by specialists. His work is way below the standard of care for inspectors. I have learned that Missouri inspectors are not required to be licensed or regulated like most other states. Please be very cautious in whom you choose. Our choice of Jeff Foster has resulted in what will probably be tens of thousands in repairs to a home we were told was in great condition. Jeff has refused to come even look at what he missed and has told us that the years of wood rot must have happened in the few months between his inspection and our inhabiting the home. There is absolutely no way this was the case. Wood rot like this takes many years to get this bad. Buyer beware!

Jeff and Shawn were prompt, professional and very helpful. They were very thorough in their inspection, and offered very helpful information during the inspection, and went over their results verbally before issuing the report. I would highly recommend Lake Ozark REI for your home inspections.
