Terrible! Large house so lots of work but 5 men running all over 3 floors. Impossible to keep track of who was doing what, no one seemed in charge. Once we moved to new home and unpacked we discovered so much damage due to careless wrapping of furniture and poor packing. Fine furniture gouged , chipped, solid oak bedpost cracked, custom floral arrangement destroyed, lampshades ripped and crushed, stereo speakers damaged, king size bed left in middle of room instead of put in place, queen bed not assembled properly. Move was poorly estimated regarding time neefed to pack and move so job was rushed through from start to finish. Only concern of packers and movers was to finish and quot;on timeand quot;, did not give a d*** about quality. ,

"Once this move had begun, the customer began to add items that she initially had told our salesperson she was going to pack herself (ie. clothes, bed linens, ect.). Therefore, the packing portion was going over what was estimated, but we accomodated the request as we always do. Once we arrived to destination, the house was under construction with workers in and out all while we were trying our best to move our customer into her new home. This caused disorganization and chaos, which is not typical of a move. It made it very difficult for our crew members to place things in the appropriate places because some rooms were completely closed off due to contstruction and others had limited space available. Regarding the damaged items, unfortunately, damage can occur during a relocation, however, we do have a claims process in place to handle damages. This customer has sent us her claim form and we are in the process of settling that claim, as we do when any customer files a claim. Our company policy on local moves is the customer has 10 days to file a claim, however, we honored a request from this customer to extend filing her claim. She actually was allowed 25 days to submit her claim form. I feel that our company has been very proactive in handling the request throughout the move from this customer and feel that we continue to hold Customer Satisfaction high with all our customers."

Terrible. Disorganized, rude, disinterested, and careless. Many items damaged, walls were damaged, floors were damaged. They took chests of drawers, end tables, storage cabinets, tool chest, and a safe - all of which they told us they could move with them still full, turned them upside down and now the contents are a complete mess. They did not cover carpeted areas and tracked dirt on them, and were indifferent when I BEGGED them to use covers as they said they would - finally I insisted on it. Boxes were half full (you pay for the packing by the box. 50% of the contents of boxes was paper. I'm not talking about fragile items, I'm talking BATH TOWELS. Terrible would never use them or recommend them. I'm in the process of embarking on an office move at the company where I am CEO (about 35,000 sf) - rest assured I will be making certain these guys are nowhere close.

We were very pleased with their services. They were on time, handled our possessions with care, and completed the work in the time estimated. They were also very helpful prior to our move, when we had a lot of questions and some uncertainty about our move date.
We chose A-Mrazek for two reasons. One, I used to work for a large nonprofit organization in town that uses their services exclusively when transporting goods for events - including fragile artwork - and always has a good experience. Two, our realtor told us that a colleague of hers works for a company that insures moving companies - they're the people who pay out if the movers break your heirloom vase. This colleague has told her that A-Mrazek has, far and away, the lowest claims rate in St. Louis - in other words, they break the least stuff. This was a compelling reason to us!

They came on time, they started working immediately and loaded up their truck managing to fit in more "stuff" than I thought would fit! Then they unloaded everything and placed it exactly where we asked (even waited patiently while we debated if the chest of drawers should be moved 6 inches to the right).

They did a great job of packing everything and moving them. They put together everything that they took apart, like the bed frame and the dining room table, and they didn't damage the walls or scrape or break anything. My husband took all the bids and made the decision because he had more confidence in the people he talked to. He felt that they were very responsive. We had real scheduling issues on our side, and they really worked with us on that. They underbid in the beginning but I think that the end cost was reasonable.

Company rep. came to the house to give an estimate. Very much a salesman. Crew showed up on time. Moved items out of the house very quickly. Went to lunch and then met me at my new house. There was a 4 man crew, and 2 of them were shady characters. I found one of them lurking in a corner of the basement where he had no business being. Later on, I found food and drink wrappers from my refrigerator stuffed in a corner of the basement. They broke a mirror on the back of a door and didn't offer to replace it. Once all the furniture had been moved, the crew chief went over the paperwork with me and tried to tell me that the dirt and scratches that were on a chair they moved from the baby's room was there when they first moved it when in fact I saw them trying to squeeze it out of the door without taking it apart and I saw the scratches they made on the woodwork and the chair. He insisted the dirt/damage was my fault and not theirs. Company made it difficult to get restitution. They originally told me I could pay by credit card but at the end of the day they insisted on a check for in town moves. Unfortunately my checkbook was with my husband at work, so I had to wait for him to bring it home.

They came to the site for a very thorough estimate. I needed these items moved in a very short time frame. They were able to accommodate rather well. There were miscommunications on when the movers were scheduled to come and when they arrived. There definitely was a lack of communication between the gentleman that did my estimate and the office that eventually worked out the schedule for the rest of the move. There was also miscommunication between the same two people regarding payments. Although the office had my contract with all the specific information already in their hands, I was called several times for the same information. The cargo was delivered on the date that was promised for the amount that was quoted so besides the lack of communication internally, it went OK.

A COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE CAME OUT TO OUR HOUSE AND GAVE A FREE ESTIMATE. THE MOVERS ARRIVED ON TIME AND WERE COURTEOUS AT FIRST, BUT RAPIDLY BECAME GRUMPY. WE MOVED ON A VERY RAINY DAY AND THEIR COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE WEATHER BECAME TIRESOME VERY QUICKLY. ONE MOVER CONTINUALLY DEMANDED WATER AND COMPLAINED THAT IT WASN'T COLD ENOUGH. (WE WERE MOVING AND NO LONGER HAD A FRIDGE IN OUR HOUSE.) FURTHERMORE THEY TOOK CONSTANT SMOKE BREAKS, SOMETIMES UP TO 15 MINUTES AT A TIME. THEY WHINED ENDLESSLY ABOUT THE PIANO, THEN DAMAGED IT ON THE WAY UP THE STAIRS. FORTUNATELY IT HAD BEEN INSURED. IN THE END I FELT THAT A MRAZEK OWED US AT LEAST AN HOUR'S WORTH OF REIMBURSEMENT, TO MAKE UP FOR THEIR WORKERS' SMOKE BREAKS. I FINALLY GOT A REFUND WORTH 1/2 HOUR OF LABOR, ALTHOUGH IT WAS LIKE PULLING TEETH TO GET THE MANAGER TO CALL ME BACK. ONE MAJOR ADVANTAGE IS THAT THE COMPANY PROVIDES FREE PACKING MATERIALS (BOXES AND PACKING PAPER).

THEY LOST MY LAMP AND LAMP SHADE, MY BIBLE AND THERE ARE THREE ARTICLES CLOTHING I CANT FIND. I USED THEM ONCE TO AN APARTMENT AND TO MOVE FURNITURE TO MY SISTERS HOUSE. THEY COME EARLY AND DONT OVERCHARGE. VERY GOOD
