From the time we first visited Kent Mohler in his Kearney, MO showroom until the time we had him measure our home and present his bid, we knew we picked the right company for our project. After dealing with pushy sales people from other siding companies who insisted on making my wife and me sit through a two hour dog and pony show, it was a real pleasure dealing directly with the owner. It's truly a mom and pop company...mom (Kent's wife) came along to our house and helped take measurements.
         Aside from patiently answering all of our questions, and showing many samples of the products he offers, Kent did something nobody else did...he took us to a current job site not far from his showroom so we could meet his crew, see them in action and see for ourselves how each piece of steel siding is custom made on site and attached seamlessly to the house. Very impressive!
         His web site states "When I tell you that my installers are, on average, 20% SLOWER than average, you can bet that means they slowed down to do the job right," and he was right. We could tell that the crew was highly skilled and didn't rush anything. They were true craftsmen who took pride in their work and did an outstanding job on our house. They had originally estimated it would take nearly three weeks for our whole project, but working six days a week, they were able to finish ahead of that schedule. We were most impressed that Gonzales, the team leader, kept us up to date each day after he and the crew finished (working till nearly dark each day) and how they cleaned up each and every day before leaving. We never had to worry about stepping around trash and debris. We also had several visits and phone calls during the project from both Kent, and his son-in-law Adam, who helps run the family business, always keeping us updated on the next steps and making sure we were happy so far.
           But the best part is, now that the project is complete, we feel like we're living in a brand new, maintenance-free home, and have received many compliments from neighbors and friends. With the style of siding we chose, it has the look and feel of freshly painted wood...right down to the ingrained texture of each custom made piece. We've already noticed how much quieter it is inside, and can't wait for the dead of winter and the effect all of the new insulation and steel siding will have on our heating bill. And thanks to the gutter cover, no more climbing the ladder this fall... I've cleaned out my last gunk-filled gutter.

Window replacement went very quickly (about 2 1/2 days) and was very well done. Siding installation went slowly due in large part to the complicated footprint of my house, the large number of windows, and the height (3 stories in back). The 3 man crew was here almost exactly a month, working 5-6 days a week. Gutter installation was done in about 2 days.
All work was done professionally and with a minimum of disruption to our daily life. A thorough clean-up was done at the end of each day. In the end, we are very happy with the final results!!!

I live in an area where the homes association didn't like the siding idea. I was ready to go when I found out they wouldn't approve it! I went to two meetings and argued my case. I finally had Kent come to the association meetings to show them the product and explain what and how. It took multiple meetings but they finally agreed. Even the 'area' siding guru came by to look at it and talk to him while they were putting it up. (he only does vinyl!) It has been up 6 years. Oh and my gas bills dropped from $300 to 100 +0- because of the product!

The quality of the work they did was just excellent. The timing and communication was a little problematic, but the quality was amazing. The contractors really seemed like perfectionists. The doors look amazing and the siding is beautiful. I really feel like I got exactly what I paid for!
