This guy is a hack! Please save yourselves the headache a d call me for more extensive reasons. Just know I am taking him to court for his incompetence. Left fire hazards on electrical, could not tape and mud, room wasn’t square, had to hire new contractor because he quit and redo everything. He showed up 26 days for work in 3 months and a only worked 130 hours during that period. Every excuse in the book. The most unprofessional and unethical contractor ever with no skill. He should be ashamed. It’s time for him to retire. Save yourselves the headache and don’t hire him
Response from Foyer Home Remodeling
"He's a liar. Yes things did move slower than should have. I did not quit. he and his friend pretty much pushed me out because I pulled my back and he didn't want me to finish because of that. I'm sorry that anyone has to read this. Thing got behind due to orders on material, weather, and all the extra work that I need to do because of the condition of the basement. extra concrete to tear out and concrete floor leveling. they changed there mind on walls and door placement. You know this could just go on and on. he also took my hand cart, furniture dollies, 11 temporary lights. And he had the nerve to tell me that possession is 90%of the law. I hope that you take this with a grain of salt. I could go into any job and cut it up also. But i'm not that type of person.."

Brian did an outstanding job of remodeling our bathroom. He was detail oriented in all aspects of the job. He was a true professional and very much cared that the remodel was done right. it was a real joy to see someone or cared about Quality and doing the job the right way. I would hire Brian again.

Mr. Foyer could not see a straight line if you drew one in front of him. The tile work is terrible. The spacing between tiles is inconsistent, and the lines are not straight. The tiles are not layed constantly flat. The fit around corners it terrible. His finish work on the drywall is unacceptable. He got paint on every thing that shouldn't have paint. Then he used the sand filled calk in places he shouldn't and didn't use it where he should. The man is a HACK!

My wife and I are overwhelmed with the before and after. We started dat after Thanksgiving and finishing up tomorrow the 5th it by the 8th. A lot has been done. I have the upmost respect. They have adapted to our schedule and communication has been fantastic. I will be hiring AGAIN for future projects. Foyer remodeling is by far the best. They have been maticuluous, professional, considerate, punctual, passionate, and much much more. We could not be more thrilled with the before and after. It has been long but well worth it. They have gone above and beyond and have adapted and adjusted to our needs and desires.

Although it was a relatively minor job, Brian was very knowledgeable and thorough. His work was very well done and I was 100% satisfied. He fixed something another contractor had done improperly and his work was dramatically better. I have absolutely no complaints, I would hire him again without a doubt, and I will recommend him to friends. His prices are very competitive and for the quality of work he does it is a great deal!

Brian takes care of everything himself, except for the carpeting that he subcontracts.  And he was there to do construction management on the carpeting. He applied his years of experience, proactive dialogue with me during construction, and quality control to make sure you are satisfied.  He said up front, you won't regret hiring me.  That's the case and we'd hire him again without hesitation.

The work involved sheetrock walls and ceiling, insulated walls, numerous can lights, plugs, switches, rerouting of an existing circuit and adding a new one. Complications such as needing soffits around utilities he handled beautifully. He installed a replacement window for the original aluminum one in the concrete foundation and framed it in and finished it beautifully. Included a second door to the bedroom to provide additional egress. The room was irregularly shaped by the floor plan of the rest of the house, and that was handed to match the rest of the house very attractively. Included a closet with bi-fold doors. All the trim, painting and finishing are beautiful.

Bottom line:  My wife says it's just what she wanted and loves it.  And she has demanding tastes.

Brian did a wonderful job.?When challenges came up as a result of the age of my kitchen,?Brian worked through the challenges making the experience as positive as possible.?Before the job was complete, Brian helped me complete items that were not apart of the contract, example, putting up curtains.

Mr. Feurer, the company owner, said that we should meet him at Home Depot and look at patio door together so he could show us the options. We did this and then went to Lowe's together before making a decision. Mr. Feurer did the work himself. He did an excellent job with the installation, trim work, painting and cleanup. He was a pleasure to work with. He will do deck renovation for us this Fall.

His attention to detail is very good, and I am extremely pleased with the end result.

My husband and I are very pleased with the work.  It turned out better than I imagined!  We originally had only wanted a small upper deck but in the middle of the project decided we wanted to add a lower level.  Brian was very accomodating with the change of plans, ordered more materials and got to work.  Everything turned out great. Would hire him again.

Very responsive. Gave me an estimate over the phone.  He managed to squeeze me into his schedule knowing that I was moving out of state in just a few days.  He showed up as scheduled removed my wall paper border, cleaned up after himself and was done in half of the projected time frame.  If I still lived in the area I would use him again.

His work is excellent.  He is very dependable and reliable since he has been in the business of remodeling for a very long time. If you want the work to be done right, he is the man to call.  He alone took out a cast iron tub by himself in one piece. He also took the tub that I would believe is over 100 lbs to the curb for us. He also did the same with the large pieces of wall and tile. He was not above doing extra for us when it was beyond what we asked him to do. Example, To get the new fixtures ready, the plumbing needed to be worked on. He made sure every thing was working properly for us and when he saw the P-trap was clogged, he cleaned it out. His bid did not include adding the stool, he still went ahead and cleaned up the old wax ring for us. I would say he goes beyond the call of duty.

I have hired Brian several times over the past for different projects.  The mud room was the second largest project I have had him build.  Brian is someone I trust to get the job completed and done well, and that is why I keep hiring him for these kinds of projects.
After I approached Brian with the need for a mud room, he came out and took measurements and created some plans which he would then submit to me via email.  His plans show what the finished product will look like and it gave me a great visual of what to expect and what I may want to change.  At first I did not care if it matched the exterior of the house but after he suggested that it would look much better if it blended in (my wife also suggested it) I agreed.  Our exterior is done with a product called "Drive It" and looks like stucco but is actually concrete.  Brian did a good job matching the colors and applying it to the exterior.
A couple of items that stand out is how solid the mud room came out.  The piers that Brian built were massive and that is what he attached the flooring to in addition to tieing into the house.  I'm a big guy and this room does not move or shake when I walk in it.  I also had Brian insulate everything including underneath the floors in addition to installing double pane windows and sliding glass doors.  Since this is a mud room we did not put any ventilation in, having said that, if we want to keep the room cool we just open the door from the house into the mud room and it stays nice and cool w/o taxing our existing a/c.  I'm assuming the same will hold true in the winter.
Overall, I'm very pleased with how this project came out and have several other projects in mind that I will hire Brian for when the budget allows.

I have hired Brian Feurer of Foyer Home Remodeling on at least three separate occasions.  The most recent was in Nov of 2011.  The first time was i think back in 2005 for a complete basement remodel. It was the typical unfinished basement that was also part of the garage.  Brian designed our layout and had print outs from a software package that gave us an idea of what the project would end up looking like.  Out of three bids, his was in the middle of the price range.  We chose Brian because he gave us more details up front and seemed better organized.    I had Brian finish half the floor space (Around a 1000 square feet or so).  He did everything from plumbing for our full bathroom addition, all the electrical wiring, studding out the walls, insulation, sheet rock, and painting.  He brought in a licensed electrician to add another panel and hook his wiring into the electrical power.  He built a full bathroom, office space, exercise area, and a large media room for us.

Overall I am very pleased with Brian and have used him several times since then.  I've had him build us custom cabinets for one of our bedrooms, repair sheetrock damage in other parts of the house, install huge storage shelves in our garage, fix our garage doors, and such.  I have a deck in mind that I want to install when the budget allows and will hire him for that as well.  Brian does the job well, I like the quality of his work.
