I chose to use them because I was familiar with them. Their pricing was what I had expected and when they called me they said it would cost me about $90 per hour. One of their guys did whatever I had asked him to, like he put in a light bulb where there hasn’t been one, etc. I probably would not use them again in the future.

They were exceptionally customer oriented in meeting an emergency need.  They provided quality workmanship.  The electrician was very professional.  It was just a higher cost and took longer than what would be expected for the work that was done.

He seems to be more knowledgeable than some of the others we have had in the past. He was prompt. He did come right when he said he would. I have no complaints; so I would rate him highly. I would use him again in the future.

John with Wirken Electric was great. I called about 8:00 am due to a partial power outage. I'd been having trouble with flickering lights for some time and had called KCPL multiple times to see if the problem was outside. They kept telling me it was not. Wirken was able to send John out right away and he was here within 1/2 hour. He identified that it was a KCPL problem within 20 seconds. As only half my circuits were out, he moved the furnace breaker so the heat would work until KCPL got out. He came back and put everything back together lonce I got home from work after KCPL replaced a bad connection at the pole. I was very impressed with the prompt and friendly service from Wirken Electric.

It went very well. We didn't have any air conditioning because the storm took out our furnace switch. We called to reschedule an appointment due to our conflict and that wasn't a problem. He showed up on time and was very prompt. He was working for about 2 and a half hours in horrible heat but did a great job; he expected everything carefully. I would highly recommend this company.

They are very efficient, very timely, and very reasonable. The cost came in lower than I expected.

Started off very well, they figured out the problems and were able to switch out one transformer on the lighting. It took a week later to get them to come back and install the 2 other transformers and the doorbell button. I was not happy when I got the invoice and was charged for 3 1/2 hours of labor. After I called Dave to talk to him about the labor, he said he would call me back. He called back one week later, which was after the invoice was due. I had already sent in the bill because I did not want to be charged interest. I thought the labor was very steep for this particular job. We had used them before for a major electrical problem and were not charged for that much labor. Overall, I was happy with the job they did because everything works now, but not happy about how long it took to get the job done and how much labor we were charged.

Great. Arrived and completed work within an hour of my call.

The power stopped working in our garage for no apparent reason. Wirken came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it the day after I called. They were professional, thorough, and fast.

They worked hard to get the job coordinated with the local electric company. I think they sent out a guy that may have been inexperienced, so it took longer than it should. I would probably use them again in the future.

Very efficient, no surprises, no fuss.

I'm getting my kitchen refurbished and, in the process, I'm having some base storage cabinets built for the dining room. They would totally block the 220 outlet for the air conditioner in one of the three windows on that wall with heavy furniture that would be next to impossible to move in order to access the plug. I phoned Wirken Electric and they were able to come out the next day which was perfect since the day after that the workers would begin installing the new cabinets. The man on the phone thought it might take an hour; however, this is a very old house with plaster walls and the electrician ran into wood blocking the path of the wire midway between the two access holes. As a result, it took two hours rather than one but he managed to accomplish the move and didn't do any damage to the plaster walls or the wallpaper when he made the perfectly sized hole in the wall for the 220 outlet. He put a blank over the lower hole which will be covered by the new furniture.

After the first time they came out, the light only worked for three days. I called them and they came back out to fix it, but they charged me again. Again, the light only worked for a couple of days. I called them again. This time a gentleman came out and went out of his way to buy me a new lamp. They even lowered it for me in order for my kids to be able to change the bulb in the future. I am very happy with the light now.

It was great, it was inexpensive. They came out and did it the same day I called. I was quick, easy, and painless.

His service was very satisfactory and I would recommend him.

They didn't charge me anything but came out as part of their customer service.

I always ask for the more experienced workers. They do a great job. I have used them for 20-plus years. I've never had any problems with them.

They were called on a Monday and came out later in the day to provide an estimate. I waived a formal estimate and gave them the go ahead. They took on and finished the job in less than three hours on Wednesday. They had a very experience technician who had previously worked for the utility company do the work. Total cost was 197.50 labor and 230.77 material. They do not give a breakdown of materials used but I don't have cause to dispute it. Overall, I was pleased with the competence and quality of their work.

Quick response to get on the calendar. They called the day before to verify the type of plug our dryer had so that they would have correct equipment on hand. Arrived on time day of appointment and installed quickly, efficiently. They even used the outlet I had bought. (I'd been hoping to do the work myself, then I thought better of it.)

The representative I initially talked to was very friendly, she got me contact with the electrician to schedule a time. She also advised me on how much the charges would be. The electrician, by the name of John, arrived on time, he was friendly and worked swiftly without loosing any time. The job was done in no time. Job well done. Thank you. I will recommend this company to friends and family.

All of the people that I talked with at Wirken Electrical Systems were great. From the day that called, to when they did the work, all went very well. My wife and I have a home built in the 1920's, so it is very difficult to run new wiring in an older structure. Dan, the electrician, did a great job in minimal time running wire from the basement, to the front porch, up to the attic and over to the kitchen. All on a 90+ degree day! To compound matters, we had Dan install an antique doorbell fixture that had a seperate light. The wiring for it was a head-scratcher, but Dan got it working. Dan was very clean and fast.

The woman answering my initial call was very helpful in discussing my electrical needs. After knowing what was needed, the scheduler called promptly to set a work date just three days later. Dan arrived promptly on time, calling from his cell phone for directions. He worked very fast, not wasting any time, had plenty of cloths to catch debris, etc. I felt he was very knowledgable in doing his work and made several good suggestions for the most efficient usage.

Dan came out thereafter and installed a window unit AC and a ceiling fan in a difficult to access location. He was prompt and very neat- very polite and professional.
