This is actually a mixed review. I had Westland do my backyard irrigation and landscape my backyard, including french drains, because they are the ones my builder had put in the front yard irrigation.
 
The irrigation guys are great! I have had them out several times to change the irrigation and/or do repairs, directed by Richard. Their work is always excellent, and their charges are not out of line. They are sometimes hard to reach, since they are always so busy, but when they do show up, they are very polite and helpful.
I cannot say the same for the landscaping side. When we first had all the landscaping done, they had a landscaping directed by their landscaping specialist, and she was great. The original work was very well done. Unfortunately, she left the company, and the landscaping service has gone straight down, since the manager/owner of the company took over landscaping.
I recently had some repairs that I needed to have done, so I called them. In all, I have left over ten messages for him, and all were just being ignored. I even left messages with the front office, and the lady said she keeps giving him my messages. I finally gave up, and with an arthritic back, made the repairs myself. 
For irrigation work, they are great, but don't expect any post-installation support from them for landscaping!
When I said I would go to them again, I only meant for the irrigation work, not landscaping.

I contacted Westland for an estimate to install a complete underground irrigation system and a time and date was set. Richard,  from Westland, was right on time when he met my wife as I was at work. He provided her with a very comperhensive and detailed explanation of the system. He later emailed me PDF files for all of the equipment that would be used and a very competitive bid. Before I made my decison, he came back to the house again to walk through the proposed install with me, explaining everything that would be done, the features of the system as well as anwering all my questions. A date for several weeks later was set to avoid the rainy weather we were having at that time. The crew showed up right on time and installed the indoor portion of the plumbing the first day. The second day a crew was back, again right on time, and installed the outdoor portion of the system. When I arrived home from work I was given a tour of the system and the controls. Richard had set up a time as well for a few days later to come by and show me the system in more detail, set the controller and inspect the system. I did have one issue with a valve that was stuck but it was repaired as soon as Richard arrived (only a piece of debris in the valve). Richard and the young man that installed the system then went through each zone and calibrated each sprinkler and Richard explained the controller, how to set it for the best results etc. He didn't leave until everything was just right and all of my questions were answered.

Everyone that I had contact with from Westland, from the crew to the office staff I spoke with on the phone, were very professional and helpful. I'm not impressed easily at all but this company did indeed impress me in every facet of their service. I would highly recommend them and I am looking forward to using them for their other landscape and lawn care services in the future.
