We chose them because they were close by & because of their expertise with watches. They've been in The Plaza for many, many years. They have an excellent reputation. They specialize in watches & have an appraisal service. They take very good care of you. They meet you at the door & take you to an area, serve coffee, sit down with you & discuss what you'd like to have done. The only area I felt they fell short in was that the appraisal itself took longer than I thought it would & I don't recall them telling me there would be a delay in the return time. It took about two weeks to get the watch back. However, the appraisal itself was very thorough & professionally done. It's presented in a portfolio with the history of the watch & additional information. They do seem to follow very professional protocol for this service. I would use them again provided they kept appraised of the expected timeline.
