The team at Hayes was quick to respond to my initial request and explained my options in detail. They provided me a variety of choices and helped me determine which would be best for my needs and budget. The install team was efficient and respectful of my home ensuring it was protected through the process and thoroughly clean when they finished. They followed up with me and I could not be more pleased with the service, product and value I received! I noticed a substantial reduction of my next heating bill, too!

The estimator was prompt, professional and accommodating. The crew arrived on time the day of installation. We have already noticed an evenness of temperature throughout our home in the first 24 -48 hours. It is so nice to no longer have pockets of heat here and there. Hayes was professional and courteous. Everyone arrived on time for appointments and worked diligently to complete work. So far, it seems much easier to keep our temperature at a comfortable level without leaving the air conditioner running all day.

Waited four weeks, called them myself several times and finally got a call back. Uh, that model doesn't have a converter, you have to run it for FIVE HOURS before it will clean out the fumes. Running a gas fireplace for FIVE HOURS - are you kidding? Cleaned it up and sent a bill for $150.

The energy audit was not the best because I only went with the infrared. Found out there was no insulation in the garage. The guys were as neat as they could be. This is a very messy job. They drilled holes on the inside, insulated plugged the holes and spackled over them. All very neat and tidy.

The installation went very well. The installers spent a little over an hour with the install. The log set is really nice and having a remote start is convenient. Our flue was broken and the original log set was starting to rust so it was time for an upgrade. We had a slight issue after the install and they came back within a few days to address the issue. This is the second project I've used Hayes Company for and I highly recommend them. Their prices are not lowest nor the highest but their service is great.

It went very well. Hayes did a very good and surprisingly comprehensive inspection. My only reservation in giving them a higher grade is that for the next several weeks they contacted me and asked to provide insulation services. While the inspection was good, it appears that the service is mainly to provide prospective customers for their insulation services. The workers that came out were excellent. They were very prompt.

Michael and team was very helpful moving things out of the basement.  He gave me tips on things I could do to save money on energy, like taping seams around the vents to redirect the air, and insulated doors.

Audit and follow up were conducted in a professional manner.  The insulation job took on whole day and all jobs were completed.

It worked out fine.  They finished the audit and gave me a report.  I had some of the work done by the handyman that I used.  Then I have some more work to be done by them that I don’t think my handyman is capable of doing.  They used something to determine whether or not there was leakage.  They found out that I didn’t have insulation where I should have had insulation.  They showed me where insulation needed to be done and talked about the lighting.  They suggested that I get a new hot water tank which I would not be doing.  They talked about sealing where the air was coming into the house.  There was no additional cost.  I don’t have anything to compare their quality of work.

They did a very professional job. I'm happy with the work they've done.

The service went well. The technicians were on time and professional dressed for the job. They were efficient and consistent worker. They got the job done and I was happy with the work. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

We didn't think we needed insulation but thought our windows were drafty, but a friend worked there and suggested an energy audit, we did. We thought it was a bit expensive, but it was a very thorough audit!  The audit price included a portion that would credit us if we decided that they do any work for us. We thought we needed new windows in our fairly new home, as winters are cold and summers too warm in much of our house.. We were SHOCKED at our energy audit, our windows were great! But we had huge areas of air flow from outside the house. They actually showed us on cameras the difference in temperatures on our walls and windows, and our windows are fine! They told us the builder did not properly  construct our attic, as it had 2 walls missing. We had no walls from our front porch to our attic,  2 knee walls were missing, and add no insulation in those areas at all, and very little in our attic. The had an excellent appraisal with several options for us in different price ranges, and we could add whatever we wanted for them to do, or we could do some small items as well.  We chose the more moderate option as it would leave  minor things for us to do. They are very professional, did the work over 2 days, supervisors came by a couple of times a day to see the progress. Nice and friendly people. Suggested we get the cellulose insulation as it would help with the few silverfish living in our attic.  Since we thought we would be out $50,000 for new windows, and our windows were fine, we were happy to pay them to correct our problems! They also came out after the work was completed for another energy audit to see what had improved for us. It was amazing!  We had over a 27%  decrease in airflow from the outside. He said if they get 18- 20% that's excellent, so our home was in bad shape. Our utility bills are down about 1/3 of what they were before, and that has been wonderful on our budget!!  We also have had other appraisals for windows that lost their seal, but we did have someone else do those, they were custom windows that had condensation in between the panes.  Would very highly recommend this company!
