Stamp collections bought and appraised.
For over forty years I have been a stamp dealer, having had a booth at hundreds of stamp shows across this country and in Europe. I am a recognized dealer member of the American Philatelic Society and for two terms was the only stamp dealer on its Ethics Committee, have served as a director of the National Stamp Dealers Association and wrote its Code of Ethics, and have been a member of many other collector and dealer organizations.
I have been used by the Estate Advisory Service of the American Philatelic Society for over 25 years; have been paid as appraiser by owners, heirs, executors, attorneys and trust departments of banks; have been employed as a Special Master in Philatelics by the United States District Court, Western Missouri; have been retained and qualified as an Expert Philatelic Witness by the U. S. Internal Revenue Service; began advertising nationally in1972; founded the Philatelic section of the Red Bridge Public Library in Kansas City; commenced conducting unreserved public stamp auctions in 1974; have organized, promoted and managed stamp shows throughout the mid-west; have purchased philatelic holdings with a catalog value into six figures; am recognized as a primary purchaser of stamp collections which merit a $2,000.00 to $50,000.00 buy price: deal in United States and world-wide philatelic items; constantly receive referrals from stamp collectors and from other stamp dealers; buy it all, and pay in full upon making a purchase.
