The Solar Blind team did an amazing job at providing 16 custom, 150" curtains for our largest ballroom. Dylan was great to work with and met with us, in person, multiple times to make sure we felt confident in the purchase. We are an elegant, historic building so adding any small or large detail to the building comes with a lot of pondering. Thank you guys!

Dylan Mullins was excellent to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Delivery dates were spot on. Installation done right. Our new shutters fit perfect. I know there are options to choose from when shopping for blinds. Some may be cheaper. However, when we're ready to do our 9 back windows we'll be going back to Solar Shield.

Very well !! I purchased faux wood blinds for 2 windows in south side kitchen and one small basement window. Also used honeycomb shades in the upstairs bedrooms. He was prompt, polite, experienced and knowledgeable. Tim Sanders, the owner, did all the work himself. I am very pleased with the whole experience. The cost was reasonable, much less than the estimate I had from another company. All blinds look very nice.

Tim came highly recommended from many neighbors. When I called, he was able to come out to my home the same day to give me a quote. He stayed in constant communication on when delivery and installation would be, etc. He installed my shutters himself within a couple of hours and the quality is even better than I expected. He also went above and beyond and fixed an old broken shade that I had in my bedroom free of charge. Great customer service!

Absolutely 100% AMAZING! I can’t recommend Tim enough. He went out of his way to make sure our needs were met. I changed my mind on the color right before we placed our order. Our new blinds are amazing! Tim helped us pick out exactly what we needed, within our price range and kept us informed on the turnaround time. He is very professional and did excellent work. The installation was quick and he took the old blinds away with him. He left our home better than he found it. He will be who we use for any and all blinds. I highly recommend Solar Shield and Tim.

I had 4 vendors provide quotes for 3 large side-by-side windows in our dining room. All of them initially suggested installing a single shutter frame on top of the existing trim, which I wasn't comfortable doing. When I asked to have the old trim removed, only Solar Shield didn't try to convince me otherwise. It was patently obvious that it would look so much better. Solar Shield went further as he offered to cut the chair rail back ¾“ on each side to accommodate the wider casing as well as removing the existing trim. The other 3 vendors all pushed back and tried to convince me to install the new frame on top of the old trim. The new frame, by removing the old trim, brought the 2 center frame struts closer to the 2 side jamb pieces in between the 3 windows. This allowed for a single filler strip to fit in behind the center frame struts eliminating any space or play between the new frame and the side jambs making it as structurally as possible. Solar Shield installed them as promised. We were so pleased with their work and the quality of the shutters that we ordered shutters for a 3-window bay in the front office.

This was the most professional job I have ever had done. Tim never said "no" to my ideas. He even gave me more ideas and helped me visualize what it would look like. I was ecstatic with the final result. He even took care of the holes where the curtain rods were. He cleaned as he went along and was efficient and quick. He's one in a million. Tim will be doing two more projects I have planned.
